Awesome winter cycling glove!, January 11, 2012

I purchased these gloves to take advantage of a very mild winter here in north Idaho. I am a big guy (6'2" 240 lbs). I ordered the XXL which fit my big thin hands perfectly. Mild winters up here means 40+degree weather and these gloves were almost too warm. I wont ride if its below 35 but I think the gloves would be plenty warm enough. The grippy palms are nice and my hands never felt clammy. You wont be dissapointed!

Just What I Needed, December 7, 2011
By Andy B (Fort Worth, TX)

With my first winter as a cyclist approaching, I needed gloves to wear while I ride. Amazon offers a few cold-weather cycling gloves, and these offered the features I wanted at the lowest price.
After a long ride in 55-degree weather and a 5K run in 39-degree weather, I am very pleased with these gloves. They are lined with a soft fleece-like material and keep my hands nice and warm. You might need gloveliners for sub-freezing rides, but I don't plan to test that theory. The palms and fingers have a knobby material (rubber or plastic, can't tell for sure) that provides a decent grip. Each thumb has a microfleece area for nose-wiping. The manufacturer says they are washable, although I haven't tried it yet.
On both my ride and my run, the gloves did make my hands a bit sweaty, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I mainly noticed it when I took the gloves off to mess with my iPhone, which you cannot do with the gloves on.
Regarding the sizing, I struggled for a while to decide which size to get since I'd never bought gloves online before. I took a rough estimate of the circumference of my palm and found a sizing chart on Google. Keep in mind that these gloves are unisex and use the appropriate chart. Sizing charts for gloves specific to men or women might vary a bit. When in doubt, I'd go with the larger size. I have fairly big hands, and the XL size fits snugly.
