The Ultega Indoor Bicycle Trainer allows you to train on your bike during the winter months and during inclement weather. Compatible with any standard bicycle with 26 to 28-inch quick-release wheels, the trainer provides a sturdy platform and six programs that can be switched as you ride via cable. The set comes complete with a front wheel stand that increases the overall stability of the trainer while protecting your floors. Constructed to last, the trainer is built out of TUV tested steel and features a highly portable and store-able folding design.  A noisy two person job!, February 21, 2012

This is the first indoor trainer I have purchased so I did not skimp on expense. Although there were cheaper trainers available this one was advertised as being easy to set up and quiet. Neither was true! It was a two person job to get set up as this bike is heavy and the trainer is not easy to keep in place while trying to get the bike into it. Also it is extremely noisy and since I live in an apartment building this is not ideal. It works okay but not at all to the extent which I expected for the hundred dollars.

The product came as described and I'll admit that I was a bit worried about how loud it was going to be. I found that even with the knobby tires on my mtn. bike the noise was fine. It's a hum not much louder than what you'd get on pavement and I could talk or listen to the tv at normal volume.
This has been a great product and the only issue I found was that I needed to raise the front tire a little higher than the included riser provided.

The Ultega Indoor Bike Trainer Set is a great product for winter and rainy days. It is great to be able to ride indoors with my own bike. The product was easy to put together- came assembled and was easy to set up. The trainer is solid and well built. A good deal at this price.

I ordered this trainer on Sunday and had it Tuesday evening- even with standard shipping! It came out of the box fully assembled and ready to go. It took me 5 minutes to set up my bike and I was using the trainer. It's not very loud and is very compact. I used it for about 45 minutes the first day and love it. I would recommend this trainer to anyone who doesn't feel the need to go broke trying to stay fit. Oh yes, it comes with a stand for the front wheel, so save yourselves a few dollars and buy this. No, I don't work for the company, but if they want to send me a nice t-shirt or a sports car, that would be cool!

Unit is easily set up. Controls are adequate for the task. This is the only bicycle trainer I have had experience with, so I have no reference point by which to judge from.

 Nice price, but way to noisy, March 11, 2012

This machine is well constructed and the price it right, but I had to return it because it is just too noisy! It may have been that there was something wrong with my unit (an unbalanced flywheel or something) but the trainer made a deep, loud vibration that resonated throughout my apartment when ridden. I would have been ok with the loud whirr of a fan blade, but this sound seriously travled and disturbed my roommates. It definitely doesn't go with hardwood floors or in an apartment. I ended up scoring a Kurt Kinetic Trainer for $250 and that has been WAY better!

The quality of this product is great....it is very sturdy and well built. It was easy to put together and the instruction manual was easy to understand. I added my own bike and started training right away. If you are looking for an easy to use, easy to store bike trainer- this is the product for you. Great idea- I highly recommend it!
