This cage is a must if you have a 24oz insulated Polar bottle!, August 21, 2011

Okay, I admit I originally bought this for my new Kona because the bike is a deep blue with silver/white trim. This cage looks brilliant on the bike. Anyone out there with blue bikes, check it out for that reason.
However after getting and using the cage, I must say it's fantastic. I'd always used the cheap metal ones before. I have a 24oz. Polar bottle, and they just don't hold that bottle correctly.
This cage however, is almost like it's made for that particular bottle. The bottle slides in, the top part of this cage aligns perfectly with the thumb indentations on the bottle. Best of all, this cage holds onto that bottle like a VICE GRIP. The bottle doesn't move at all, and try my best it's never left the cage through jumps, falls or whatever.
Highly recommend if you've got one of those Polars.. I'm buying a second one to fit on my seat's downtube.

I just love this bottle cage. It looks super cool on my blue bike. Usually you find these in black only but the white is super sharp. It is easy to insert my bottle and easy to get it out. I highly recommend it.

Cure for large water bottles., June 4, 2010
By E. Strawn (L.A.)

I have some stainless water bottles and now I can carry them on my bicycles without straining the bottle cages.
These are replacing stainless cages on my bicycles because of their ability to expand easily. Much cheaper than
carbon fiber and may be more durable.

Pretty descent cage., April 15, 2010

I've had a pair of these Zefal springs bottle cage on my bike and loved them, but over time they loosen a bit and the bottles tend to jump out if u slammed a pot hole or jumped a bump. They are o.k for training but during race when the pressure is on and u need to ride hard you might end up not having a bottle in the cage when you need it.

Does the job, more resilient than carbon, February 12, 2010

I hate the cost/durability of carbon cages. This fiber cage can be pulled, bent, and leaned on without breaking. I was previously using the Profile Stryke cages and continually lost 24oz bottles on major bumps. A huge fred-maneuver in the middle of a pack. So far no ejected bottles with the Spring Cage, and I'm ready to buy another one. Zefal and plastic isn't exactly fashionable in the peloton, but heck, sanding paper takes off the silkscreening.

Look no further, February 9, 2012

As other reviewers have said, they seem as though they were made for 28 oz Polar bottles. Carbon fiber's the fad, but these things work great and they'll likely never break.

Lightweight springy cage holds the water bottle well. I use the larger size bottles and they work perfectly in it.

Good and cheap, August 28, 2011

This water bottle holder was the cheapest I could find. It's flexible plastic and holds my Trek or Camelbak bottle snug. The bottle will move around while in the holder, but hasn't fallen out yet. I would recommend it to a friend.

Works as advertised, July 19, 2011

I put this cage on my seat tube to hold a 24 oz polar insulated bottle. Through 2 20+ mile rides it held the bottle just fine. I'll probably buy another to replace my other cage.

Not designed to carry a full bottle!, November 5, 2010
By Patrick Heidingsfelder (South MS)

I bought TWO of these cages for my Cervelo P2 with the Xlab behind the seat holder. I've only ridden with these twice, but both times my water bottles popped out. They kept popping out until the top busted off and the water exploded everywhere. So if you need to carry some empty bottles, these are your cages, but if you want to carry those full bottles for a long ride try something else. I will.

Not a bad product for the relatively low cost. Performs excellently, just a with a little added weight (in comparison with carbon bottle cages).

ANother great Zefal product, May 18, 2012
By S. Kosloske (Milwaukee, WI USA)

I've been buying their stuff since the 1980's, so I knew that this cage would be a good product.
Cosmetically good, no sharp plastic edges or burrs. Plastic has a good amount of give, you can yank the bottle out the "top" with no issues. Holds my standard and extended size Camelback bottles, and the 28oz insulated bottle. No issues. 48g isn't exactly a "weight weenie" winner, but hey, it's under $8. Best value, in my opinion.
Another great Zefal product. Highly recommended for the price.

Very flexible and durable in the hot weather, have not tried in cold weather yet. Not super bright white... more a slightly muted flat white with a hint of grey(very slight hint).

Exactly what we wanted, March 30, 2012

This bottle holder fits great on our Trek Dual Sport 8.3 on any of the 3 available mounting spots. It fits the Camelbak Podium Big Chill 25 oz Bottle like it's made for it. Bottle sits well in the holder and easy to take out. Flexible light plastic which is great, I can't stand the rigid metal ones. Couldn't be happier.
