1.0 out of 5 stars.  Child death trap, November 27, 2011
By bargainz (east coast)
I totally agree. Huffy really messed up on this little bike. I bought this same model in May of this year, and not even two weeks later, the "L" shaped supports of the training wheels started bending inwards, until eventually they broke off. My daughter is of average weight for a 5 year old. The metal they used is as flimsy as a piece of sheet metal. How is this safe? Then, after 3 months, the chain started popping off. I remounted the chain 5 times. Now, it wont stay on at all! I tightened everything on the pedaling mechanism, and still no improvement. Im just really disappointed in Huffy and the shoddy materials they used for this bike. What a piece of crap.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very pretty and sturdy bike, easy to assemble, December 17, 2011
By Grace Chang (Baltimore, MD)
This bike was really easy to assemble; it took me about half an hour. At first though, I thought the bolts and stuff were missing, then realized they were already in place on the bike ready to go. (note: the diagrams on the box were much more helpful than the manual, which is generic and geared for many different models of bikes.) My daughter hasn't ridden this bike yet, as Christmas is a week away, but it looks very sturdy to me. One reviewer said the training wheel L brackets were flimsy, but I disgree. At least, on the bike I got, the brackets are very thick and sturdy. I think my daughter will totally love this bike! The color is a beautiful deep pink, and the flowery Princess decals are sweet. Even the design on the seat is pretty. The bell is just OK. I will probably transfer my daughter's Hello Kitty bell from her hand-me-down bike to this bike, as it is both cute and more robust.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Cute, January 30, 2012
By afakeleg
It's princess, it's cute.

Doll seat has cracked a little, a little weak plastic.

Has toppled to the right twice, but not sure if it has something to do with the training wheels or not. Will have to get it out on the sidewalk to see how well it actually works.

Santa brought it a month ago for Christmas and has just been driven in circles around the dining table so far.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Poor quality and cheap cheap parts, December 25, 2011
By Maykel Fernandez (Miami)
You get what you pay for. Bike was easy to assemble but that's about it. My daughter is 4 years old and weights 32 lbs. The training wheels bend after time, the pedals are SOOO hard for a 4 year old to turn its incredible. I had to use WD40 to soften them up and they are still hard, the bike feels like its braking all the time. When you spin the rear wheel and you stop pedaling the wheel it's supposed to spin with a free flow and it just brakes by itself after 5 seconds. This mean my kid has to work twice as hard to ride the bike. The chain rubs against the cheap plasticky chain cover it came with. Now the stickers are also peeling off. This product is crap. Save youself the $80 dollars and invest on a better bike from a bike shop.
