Just wanted to provide head circumference guidelines for this helmet, as I couldn't find any size information when I was ordering. Packaging states: 18.5 - 20in / 47 - 51 cm, 1yr +.

While this is a cute helmet, be warned by the title of it. This helmet does NOT fit toddlers. It is an infant helmet for sure. I had to return the item immediately as it does not fit. Amazon just needs to change the item description.

Initially purchased the "Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet", but the horizontal strap on that helmet came off. Upon close inspection, the straps were attached to the helmet with some sticky pads.
The strap on this Bell helmet is embedded into the styrofoam and is much more reliable and safer. Our 1 year old girl loves it!

This is such a cute helmet, and it fit my 13 month old daughter perfectly. There are plenty of adjustment straps to make a good fit, plus it comes with some sticker pads to fit on the inside of the helmet if it is too big. Great buy!

Although this helmet fits my 14 month old daughter well, the weight of the helmet drags her head forward. We are keeping it, but will probably wait another few months until her neck is stronger before we use it again.
The helmet itself is very cute and images are very bright.

Infant helmet, not toddler helmet, November 24, 2011

As others have said, this is an infant helmet, not a toddler helmet. On mine, there was a label that was zip-tied to the front of the helmet. The zip-tie caused some of the foam at the front to be worn away (1mm thickness) because the zip-tie was tight and I guess must have shifted around during shipment or whatnot. However, it wasn't worth the bother to exchange.
I've used cheap and expensive (adult) bike helmets...and the construction and feature of this infant is definitely on the very cheap side. For example, the shell is not molded (just taped on), the straps are just adjustable on one side. There's no real head circumference adjustment-->just rubber bands on the back side, which also has two reflectors. Infants typically won't be riding by themselves anyway, so not that useful, except perhaps when they're riding in a bike carrier.
Essentially you get what you pay for in this very basic infant bike helmet.

This helmet is perfect for my 15 months old. It even offers adjustable thiner inner pads for when she will have outgrown the thicker ones. I just received this item today and can't wait to go on a bike ride!

I received the helmet promptly. When it arrived, everything looked in order. It was a little large for my daughter, so I figured we'd hold on to it. It is not adjustable. Within less than a week, 2 of the inside foam pieces fell off. The sticky reside stuff didn't last. I tried to use the replacement foam they supplied, they ripped. Now I have two foam pieces that have fallen off, making me believe this helmet won't be safe with use.

When I added this helmet to our wish list, it looked like a top-of-the-line adjustable helmet. NOT so :(
It didn't fit my 23 month old daughter and wasn't adjustable except for the chin strap. There are way better/ more adjustable models out there for the same general pricing. We're returning to Amazon.

This works well, and seems comfortable (as far as helmets go). I like how adjustable it is, honestly I was worried about it being too big for my 1 yr. old, but nope, it's great. Good shipping time.

We are very pleased with this helmet. Our daughter is 10 months old and the helmet fits her just fine, with extra pads inserted. I am pleased that we will be able to remove the sizing pads as she gets bigger, so the helmet can 'grow' with her. It is very light so as not to weigh down her head while at the same time it seems very durable and protective. The print is very cute for a little girl.

I bought this for one of my twins and she loves it, problem is so does the other twin, so I guess I need to buy another. We had bought a larger helmet for her cause she is just bigger but this one does fit her as well. They are 14 months. I'm thinking unless you just have a large headed child this is the one you need for the first few years. Its very cute and very sturdy.

This helmet is so adorable! We started taking my 1 year old granddaughter for rides in the pull-behind trailer last week. My granddaughter spends the entire trip tugging and pulling and SCREAMING to get the helmet off! The fact that it is not easily removed is a definite plus, and I have no doubt this will offer the same protection as the Bell helmets worn by nana, mom and dad. Once she gets used to it, we'll have some very enjoyable rides through the forest.

We bought this helmet for our 11-month old daughter to wear while she is in the iBert and it fits great. She doesn't try to pull it off and it stays in place - there is also room for her to grow in it. Another review mentioned that it was heavy for their child to wear but I didn't notice a problem at all.

Product is called "infant helment 1 yr+" which I find contradictory. Head circumference must be 18.5-20 in and is too big for my 8 month old. The only adjustable strap is the chin strap; there is an elastic band in the back but it can not be tightened.

This pink helmet with lady bugs is very cute. It fits my 1 year old daughter and has plenty of adjustability for growth. It comes with smaller pads to replace the larger ones as she grows. She doesn't like wearing hats, but seemed ok with this since mom and dad were wearing helmets too.

This is a great helmet, especially for an infant. I first started using this on my daughter when she was 10 months old. She is now 14 months & it still fits her. It comes with extra inserts to adjust fitting.

I agree that the description should be changed to "infant". Other than that, I got this for my 10 month year old since I saw that warning in the reviews and works perfectly for her. Its slightly too big for her, but she will grow into it and she can still wear it. Cute pattern and comes with replacement pads for the future.
