 Poor Quality and Service, August 15, 2011

I had this product for 3 days and only put 12 miles on it. The stem (piece that connects the handle bars to the bike) broke, leaving me with no control of the front wheel. The battery level indicator also did not work. It resembled a full charge the entire trip, which I was able to believe since I peddaled the majority of the trip, and suddenly died completely.
I requested a refund, due to the poor quality and lack of reliability for this product. The "Service Manager" informed me that I was responsible for shipping the product back, as expected, and they would be keeping 20% of the purchase price because that was used for shipping and handling and restocking. He also informed me that this product would not be able to be re-sold and declined waiving the fee for "shipping and handling and restocking"

Very poor bike!!!!, August 24, 2011

Brought this bike but the Li lithium battery version. Even stil, only got average of about 7 miles before fully charged battery crapped out(riding on smooth pavement, no wind). The battery charge indicator shows fully charged all the time until the last few minutes then it rapidly shows battery running out of power within a few minutes. Also bike dosen't have pedal assist. My understanding and the rest of the world understands pedal assist means that when you pedal the motor kicks in and helps out. The maker of this bike says your pedal assist means when you twist the tottle you get power so pedaling is easier. Worse customer service ever experienced. They don't respond at all to anything trouble tickets you put in. Defintely would not recommend this bike. Also, had to pay to ship bike back which is not cheap, cost me over $150.

this bike is a great price, rides nice and has plenty of power, I have not had any problems with the bike. I have owned it for 5 months.
