5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Deal for a Great Bike, October 11, 2009
By S. O'Brien
It was everything my son was looking for. The bike was deliverd ontime and in great shape. If you've never put a bike like this together I would suggest you take it to a bike shop like I did. Only $35 to have the bike put together. The bike shop had the same bike for much more $$$$$ than what I paid on Amazon.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Emergency Room in you Future, July 31, 2011
By Cindy Sipes
This bike is a accident waiting to happen. Form the moment we put this bike together we had problems with the handlebars moving, we tightened the bars often even bought a new stem. Today we spent 4 hours in the emergency room the handlebars gave out and my son went flying. After returning home from the emergency room we started to read review on this bike, it seems that many are having the same problem with the handlebars. We are counting our blessing that it was only eight stiches and a broken jaw.

Company need to recall this bike before someone is killed.

These bikes arrived on time; and easy to assemble. A very sturdy bike and a great price. My son enjoys his bike and has a reason to go outside and play every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Bike, February 4, 2011
By Happy Dad
It was a birthday gift for my kid. I shipped really fast and shipped in great shape. Very little to put to gather. This is a like weight bike that I wish I had as a kid. I really recommend this bike over going to the big store that sales everything. This bike may be 2x's as much but is half the weight and way better parts. I'm really happy with it and so is my kid.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Quality for the Price, December 23, 2010
By S. Davis (Oklahoma)
Bought for 2009 Xmas for my then 7yr old. The bike is light and manueverable and although it was a bit big for him he transitioned to it without problem. Seems much better made than the Mongoose mass-production models. Went to a local bike shop to test it out first. Easy minor assembly is necessary, but it amounts to attaching the front wheel, adjusting brakes, and setting the right angle on the headstock. Simple Simon and Happy Campers.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  My son loves his new bike, February 5, 2010
By D. Irvin
Ordered for him at Christmas. He had an old Diamondback Grind that he rode long and hard. It took all the punishment he could dish out. So far he absolutely loves his new Vipre! He says the frame fits him better (he's about 5'-8" now) and it's easy to do tricks. He rides all over with his brother and friends. His brother now rides his old Grind and it's still going strong! Great bikes!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Viper X, June 4, 2011
By Tim Chmielewski
This Bike is not that heavy, yet not that light. However, I am comparing it to my old school Mongoose, which weighs 26 pounds. One thing I HAVE to suggest is using locktight (blue) when installing the handlebars. They loosened up on me while riding prior to doing so.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great bike, March 2, 2010
By Jonathan T. Bishop
this is a great bike it is good to ride and stunt... its a bit heavy so if you have a kid who is like 9 or 10 and wants to do tricks this isnt the bike that is the only down side to this bike. took me around 45 minutes to an hour to put together. came in perfect shape. and was just outstanding. its top spead isnt very fast (my buddy nick can out run its top speed) but it is great. the tubes in the tires arent great for trick ridding so i would recomend buying some new tubes for it.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Bikes nice, tools never showed up, January 18, 2012
By KrB
Bike are nice. I ordered two for my boys that are 6 and 8. They are a good size, as my boys are fairly tall. However, neither box contained the tools that are supposedly included to put these together. As this was right before Christmas, I called the Diamondback company, received a nice message in return and then was never able to get ahold of them again. Luckily, my husband had the necessary allen wrenches to complete the job but it was a headache. Aside, from that the bikes are sharp, my sons love them and they appear sturdy although with the winter they have only had them out a couple of times.

I was looking for a sturdy bike for my son but yet not too heavy, this bike is the perfect combo, its a good looking bike I wont let my son leave the bike in the front lawn because it will grow legs and leave.
