4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great starter short, June 28, 2011
By Ei
I typically wear a size 12 and ordered a Large and it fits well. I like that the band on the thigh is a little wider and doesn't create a 'bulge' on the thigh but it still holds the short in place. The chamois is comfortable and is breathable, but it is somewhat minimal. The seams are flat and well constructed. Overall a good biking/spinning short and am happy with the purchase.

Great riding shorts, i love the lenth of it, they are shorter than the regular shorts. They also run a little big, i usually wear medium, but this ones i have to reorder them in small.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Comfortable ride, but waist band pain, February 22, 2011
By Jackie
Love these shorts in terms of the comfort; however, the elastic banding can be quite uncomfortable. I'm hoping to take these to a tailor to remove the elastic to mimic more of a Louis Garneau waist line.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love these shorts!, March 30, 2012
By Eliza D
Cannot tell you how much I love these shorts! They arrived the night before my 5am spinning class and I could not wait to get to class the next morning. They fit great--true to size, snug but not tight, and not too short (I was worried about that because I'm 5'10".) The padding is just right--not too much, not too little and not too bulky to walk without feeling strange. Would highly recommend them--so much so I'm getting ready to order another pair!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Comfortable bike shorts, July 28, 2011
By Vane C
These are great bike shorts for women. The elastic around the thighs and waist do not dig in like some spandex-y bike shorts that sit on an area where us ladies tend to have a bit more flesh. The lycra material is a bit thinner than some, but are a great intermediate priced bike short. The shamois (padded bum part) is pretty good. This is my first pair of Pearl Izumi shorts, and at $45, great short to try. And yes they are certainly shorter than most shamois bike shorts, but great for getting a little tan on your thighs while peddling.

I got these shorts for my first half Ironman and could not have loved them more. They were absolutely perfect. Just the right amount of padding. I can't say enough!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice colored cycling short, October 12, 2011
By Gremgirl4
When I first tried on these shorts, I was pleasantly pleased with how they fit and I loved the splash of pink on the sides. However, once I wearing them, I found they were a tiny bit too big. I don't like clothes form fitting by any means, but when I am cycling, I like my bottoms to fit me just right. These shorts are by no means uncomfortable or taxing during a ride, they just don't fit perfectly; which for my frame (I am a curvy 5 ft even), doesn't surprise me.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great shorts - Great price, September 9, 2011
By JMart562
I am currently trying to work up to a 20 mile ride (from basically nothing)...I took my first ride about 8 miles with no padding and can I say OUCH. I talked to my brother who told me a. I needed to get "used to being in the saddle that long" and b. I need a good pair of padded bike shorts. Begin a "beginner" I did not want to spend a fortune...so the price was what first attracted me to this pair. I was somewhat nervous about ordering "tight" shorts since I'm a size 14 but I just went with what the sizing chart told me and ordered an XL...PERFECT! I've ridden twice since I got these and it was a complete 180 from my first ride...I even added 50 lbs of weight by pulling my son in the trailer behind my bike and the cushion is amazing! I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to take long rides (and the price is great too). Well made too.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Cute, comfortable, fits well, January 8, 2012
By Sammy
These are great for spinning class. They keep you padded where you need it but are not embarrassing to walk around in at the gym (doesn't look too bulky). They aren't really long, but aren't super short...just perfect. They are made out of nice material and I like the construction on the top, it keeps it from doubling over when sitting on your bike....and the bottoms stay put too. I am very happy with these shorts and may order more!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent cycling short, May 21, 2012
By canohio
Fit is very true to size. They wash and dry well. Substantial padding for spinning indoors and 20+ mile rides. Length is better on these than the Speed Short for my 5'10 frame. Legs are not too tight on my fairly lean but muscular build. Haven't stretched out. Legs stay in place very well, no rolling. Definitely recommend for warmer weather rides.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  These are my favorite shorts., April 27, 2012
By cyclinga1a
I love these shorts. They have a soft non-restrictive waist. The legs stay down with soft grip tape and the shorter inseam is nice for shorter gals.
