Product Description:

The Session 24 may be a bit mellower than it's little brother, the Session 20, but that doesn't mean it has less guts. A steel frame and fork, FSA headset, Tektro 907 rear brake, and Chromoly 1 piece cranks match that of it's sibling, but the 24" wheels make the bike a bit more stable and comfortable. With that said, it can still show up its little brother whether it be on the street, at a park, on the trail, or over jumps.

Never again, January 11, 2011

The box was tagged as a "not for consumer" item.
Buyer beware if you do not have the correct bicycle maintenance tools and bike maintenance experience don't buy a packaged bike.
This Diamondback model is a cool, heavy duty 24-incher that Amazon sells for just under $100 less than retail.
The issue is it took $200 of my labor to:
Correct the rear wheel true (1/4inch out of true at 12 and 6 and left/right).
The front axle was over-tightened and the wheel would not spin.
The bottom bracket adjustment was so tight that the crank wouldn't spin.
The headset was jammed in off-center and the paint was gouged down to clean steel on the fork leg.
I had all of the right tools and experience to fix the "pile".
Unfortunately I didn't open the shipping box until 3 days before X-mas. Shame on me. My grandson however is happy as hell.

Easy to assemble, rides smoothly, comfortable for a grannie!. I wanted a simple bike, no gears, no fancy stuff, just a bike like I used to ride. This is it. Having fun! Riding with my 5 year old grandson. I'll pass down this BMX bike to him when he gets older.

OK but not price justifiable, June 21, 2011

I brought this bike for my son
It is easy to assemble if you are a average handyman like me. Two of the allen bolts on the front fork was so tight to loose that I had to hammer the wrench to loose it.
After the assembling, the bike cruises pretty smoothly (according to my son).
My complaints for the bike (against the price of the bike)
1. it came with no kickstand
2. the seatpost is so short, even I extend to the maximum length, the saddle is still low for my shorter than average 12 year old son.
3. the saddle is hard cheap plastic, uncomfortable.
4. it only has real brake as shown
I ended up having to add and replace the first 3 items. Consider I paid the same price for my own GMC bike that has the those 3 items in quality, front and back disc brakes and dual suspension, this bike does not justify as a good buy.

the bike came together easily, but they (the factory) forgot to tap the left crank hole so i couldn't put the left peddle on.
good thing i was planning to replace the single piece crank with a 3 piece one.
