Nice set of handlebars put them on my bike, had to buy extended cables not to expensive, local shop has same handlebars for over $40 got them on amazon for $20 plus free shipping when I spend $25 which still was a better price.

I got the strange idea to put ape hangers on my cruiser style bicycle after I did the same to my HD Street Glide. I have found that sitting up erect takes much of the strain off of my lower back and this old back needs all the help it can get. It took a little time to get used to the steering changes but it did help with the lower back. If you have any controls on the handle bars (brake, shifters, etc) you will need to extend the cables and housing. Most bike shops can do this for you or sell you the materials if you know how to do it yourself.

Awsome, I put them on my Electra Coaster Beach Cruiser.Makes my bike look sick. Way cool. If you are thinking about getting ape hangers, just get these, they are strong cool looking and come with shims so you won't have any problem with mounting them.Great deal, good quality, good price, gives my beach cruiser a whole new look.

well what can i say?! let me be perfectly clear, only certain bikes can roll this item. if you have any doubts about buying one, then you probably dont know how to cruise in style. i built a custom cruiser in a LA Laker purple/yellow theme, whitewalls, 3-speed, one handbrake, and these notorious APE HANGERS!

i have turned more heads with this bike than my other 3 and i have had many ca$h offers on the spot. i can cause sore necks to peeps when i have it loaded on my car roof rack while driving around town. be a baller and order one or dont and look like gramma---i will probably order 2 more after xmas, another chrome one for my lowrider project and a black one for my new stealth project...

High quality. I noticed someone else said their set did not come with shims. Mine actually came with a set of shims attached to take it from 7/8 inch to 1" which worked perfectly with my Electra cruiser which saved me from having to spend another $8 to $10 at the bike shop. I have a shimano nexus 3 speed shifter for which I had to go to a bike store and buy a new cable due to height of the handle bars. I ended up buying a tandem bike cable (~$10) and eight feet of the cable housing (~$20 for the cheaper stuff). In the end, all worth it when the kids look over and say sweet bike dude!

I was excited to recieve this and I am inlove with the ape hangers but upon recieving the apes i inspected them noticing the right hand grip was bent out by several inches. It may be the shipping companys fault or the shops. Its a strong metal and its not damaged paint wise anywhere. It just leaves me wondering

These are Sick Apehanger. You can not beat the price. I put these on my 1990 Schwinn Beach cruiser and it feels alot better than my stock bars. You can ride all day and your back will not hurt you. You will get alot of looks on it and people will like it or the kids will say what are those. These Apehanger you can not go wrong with very comfortable.

Perfect addition to a great bike. I have never gotten so many compliments on a bicycle until I put these on. I have raced and ridden for over 20 years and these bars turn heads everywhere I go. Very easy to handle and they create a very comfortable ride.

I bought these handle bars for my all black beach cruiser. The outcome was ridiculously sick. I get a lot if compliments and everyone stares at like " Dang man that's nice" . The nirve super ape hangers is what set this bike off. I would recommend them to anyone that has a beach cruiser.

These are exactly what I was looking for for my motorized bike project. Real old school style Apehangers, the way they're supposed to look. If you're not "Hanging" on them, they're too small! They arrived pretty quickly, in a huge box with lots of packing, and they came with shims. They're good quality and thick enough metal to actually hang on. When I need to stand up and pedal my bike, I can pull myself up on these and they can handle it. I don't know if it's the same with the chrome bars, but considering their height it's a good idea to sand or scuff the paint off where they are being mounted.

Good quality product.
Received the product within the time estimate.
Instructions were easy to understand.
Easy to install.
If any down side it's that the Ape Hangers change the center of gravity for the bicycle so they change the way it handles.
A win/win for both buyer and seller.

Amazon has what I need and I needed this to increase the height of the handlebar for my scooter.. Fits as described. One down side is that the handlebar doesn't seem sturdy..metal is very thin for something long..should be thicker.

they came in a huge box, im glad they had free shipping. These apes are real nice and i like the narrow design of them. The only thing is mine came with little scratches but most were where the handle grips go, so not that big of a deal. They really add style to the bike I have them on a schwinn army bobber i built,

These bars are just what they are, they give ur bike distinked look...I have mine on my 20" bmx MAB, takes a little getting used to if u smoke and take one hand off the bars intermittently...Outside that they make for a comfortable ride, they tend to attract a bit of attention and double takes from passer-bys, not for the incognetos.
