Here is the little bike that could. eJoe Bike's E-Transformer S is a folding bike that can take you up to 30 miles on a single charge, and then fold down to half its size for easy storage. Commuting to an office? You can store this bike in your cubicle until you're ready to head home! The E-Transformer S is equipped with a 250w lightweight motor and a 36v lithium-ion battery. It's a durable, low maintenance bike. This bike allows pedal-assist operation and throttle control, essentially flattening hills and giving you a powerful boost! It's a fun way to avoid the snarl of daily traffic and get you on your way!

Very well thought out., December 20, 2011

E-JOE E-Transformer S
This little bike is heavily built and has a solid, stable ride. The planetary hub motor is fairly quiet and has a lot of torque. It can pull my 200+ pound 6'2" frame up fairly steep hills (5%)unassisted. The battery is LiFePO4 and two 15 mile rides on hilly terrain each used about 60% of the battery capacity (fully re-charged in a little over 3 hours with the charger rated at 1.8 amps. The small wheels with over-sized spokes and the low battery mount provide a low center of gravity...fast turning. Standard length crank arms and a 7 speed derailleur allow meaningful manual assist on very steep grades. In short, this is a well sorted e-bike built in China as durable transportation rather than a toy.
The only negative was loose clamps on the handlebar mounted controls and seat post...probably to prevent breakage during shipping.

GREAT PRICE FOR SUCH A FUN TO RIDE BICYCLE, January 2, 2011

Got the bicycle and had the battery fully charged.
Next day, took it for a ride with others road bicyclists; very impressed during the mountain climbing, this small tiny wheel on this bicycle could keep up with the strongest rider out there.
The motor and battery could tackle the hills even when the bicycle has an extra weight on the luggage rack (40lbs).
It's so nice to have this bicycle since it can be folded easily and be put into your car trunk.
Doesn't take up a lot of space to store it; BUT, it brings a lot of fun when taking it out for a ride.
The best thing is you still get the exercise of bicycling without having to look like a hardcore bicyclist.
