4.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice pack, April 8, 2011
By Janet Bowe (LAWTON, OK, US)
This back was a great value through Amazon. The price was approximately $15.00 cheaper than I found in 2 stores I looked at. The hydration bladder keeps water very cold for quite some time. The pockets are a lot smaller than I had anticipated they would be but all in all, a very nice pack. Hugs the body very well and has great placement of straps. I ordered the lime green and love the color! It holds 100 ounces of water but with the bladder full, it made the bag pretty stiff when wearing it so I do not fill it completely up. I would recommend this item for both hiking and running. I puchased it for an extreme marathon and was able to run very comfortably with it on and the pockets filled with necessities.

I read all the things people posted abou this and many others. This is the one I chose. I use it for running around the mountains and its awesome. Its large enough to carry my phone, keys, camera, flashlight, sunglasses and some bars for break time. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great pack, June 13, 2011
By mtbiker
Great pack, the only problem is storage. It says it will carry a pump but it will not. Other than that it will carry most anything you need in the zippered pocket. If you are pretty into mountain biking I would go with the MULE over the LOBO. The Lobo would be great for road riding though where a CO2 can could be used.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  does what I need it to do, June 3, 2011
By R. Trang (california)
You can't go wrong getting a Camelbak. It's just a matter of finding the right size to fit your needs. Everything about the bag worked as I expected it to except for the air vent cushion thing. Obviously, wearing the backpack during a hot day ride can get your back kinda hot and sweaty and I thought that the air vent on the bag would help reduce my back being sweaty. I guess it did help but not to the extent that I was expecting and that's why I gave it 4 stars vs 5. Otherwise, an awesome bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Amazing solution, October 19, 2011
By teresita2933
Love love love this product. I just moved to Arizona and hiking is what ppl do here on the weekends! For 2 hour or more hikes in extreme heat, this is a great product. My friend had told me to get one and so I did, wow, so glad I had one, I don't think I would have made it without it. So far I have only used this for hiking, but I look forward to using it for cycling as well. You might think carrying 3L would be heavy but the design is great, and it keeps it very cold. we were hiking in 100 degrees (dry heat) and it was still very cold. Thank you Camelbak! **The only down side is the tags show the bladder drying with an S hook, but this hook is not included. Would be nice to have in order to avoid mold issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love this cameback!, August 22, 2011
By Illinois Mom (Taylor Ridge, IL, US)
I love how easy this is to fill & empty! The bag has a great deal of insulation so some ice water will stay cold long after any waterbottles have started to cook your drink on a hot day. This was for a 70 mile bike ride & it was perfect!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great water supply, but small pockets, February 17, 2012
By AbingMBR
I originally got this because it was a smaller version of the mule, but now wish I would have gotten the mule. This will not easily hold all the tools to repair a mountain bike with a mechanical. It is great for the amount of water and the quick release, but the storage is limited.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Loco for Lobo, February 16, 2012
By Tyler Bennett
I've had a Camelbak HAWG for years to use while running, but needed a less bulky and more visible pack for biking. This is a great pack. I've been logging hours in the saddle and forget that it's there. Huge convenience over water bottles.

5.0 out of 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great for biking AND running, August 17, 2011
By Sweet Pea's mom (Missouri)
camelbak is simply the best hydration system. you get every last drop of water out of your reservoir and it never leaks!

the rogue is super lightweight and compact, yet it allows plenty of room for your essentials (phone, hex tools, hand pump, and ID). the yellow pack is bright and good for safety. the 70oz reservoir is easy to remove and air dry. no need to waste $ on cleaners and such. those "old days" are gone with the newest units from camelbak.

I highly recommend this product!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Absolutely essential for comfortable intensity., May 17, 2012
By B! (Isle Of Man)
I find that sprint training in the hills is far more efficient for someone my size. The eccentric phase is shorter and I "heal" faster. Doing Fartlek for five miles, in the California summer and around ~3000 feet above sea level WILL make you lose water.

This Camelbak is AMAZING and a MUST for intense athletic conditioning! At first glance I thought that I had made a mistake and could've saved a lot of money by buying another "Rogue," BUT the 100 ounce bladder in this thing ensures that I won't be suffering from dehydration anytime soon and is well worth the price hike.

I love the setup of the harness. Sufficient padding for my shoulders. The chest and hip straps keep the Camelbak from chaffing me as easily. It fits my 6'4" Endomorphic frame quite well.

I don't really think the storage space is that much bigger than the old "Rogue" that I have so if you don't feel you need the 100 ounce bladder you might want the "Rogue." After this size bladder I doubt I could ever comfortably go back.

I would definitely recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excelling biking backpack & water supply, May 14, 2012
By George Coghill (Kent, Ohio)
My brother got this for me as a gift, and at first it seemed like overkill to me but after using it the first time I was sold. Holds lots of water, and plenty of pockets to stash tools, gadgets, snacks, cameras, keys, wallets and other gear. Inner mesh dividers in pockets are also handy. There's even a quick-access stash compartment that I just discovered (it's right behind the lower zippered compartment).

When I realized this was much more than a water bottle, it all clicked. Will also be handy for hikes. Way better than a backpack and water bottles. Fits nice and close to the body, very adjustable and the air venting where it meets the back makes it very comfortable. Always with me on longer bike rides now. Pretty much any bike ride actually!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Camelbak at Machu Picchu!, April 21, 2012
By K. Charles (Santa Fe, NM USA)
After losing my old Camelbak that i had for many years, i purchased the Lobo version and couldn't be more pleased with its performance. Finishing a hiking tour through the Sacred Valley of Peru, including Machu Picchu and it has been a something i could count on in a world where clean water is a necessity.

i just recently started mountain biking and needed a hydration pack. This camelbak just does what it should. The size is good enough for me because I only do a little more than an hour of mountain biking. The seal is pretty good and it is very convenience to fill up with water.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Simply the best pack for MTB!, December 12, 2011
By Rene Gomez Genao
This is one of the best packs there is on the market! Great looks and very comfortable. The flexible water tank maintains the water temperature for several hours. The hose doesn't leak water because it has a mecanism that allows the water to flow only when you press the end with your teeth. The tube also easily detaches for cleaning purporses.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  One problem but great pack overall, December 2, 2011
By mr_bubbles
Mainly use it for hiking and running so the shoulder straps and waist strap durability are very important to me. It is very lightweight, the bladder its situated perfectly and the straps are comfortable and definitely durable except for one. The problem I have is with the chest strap. In the picture you would think it is fastened onto the shoulder straps but that is only partially correct. The chest strap is very easily removable which is great for some people but for me the two hooks or whatever they are just don't have enough hold and they just fall off the shoulder straps so on a few occasions I have taken the pack off to realize that my chest strap has fallen off of my pack. Minor inconvenience for an other wise great pack.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A+ with stars, October 8, 2011
By Todd R. Bryson
I like to long distance paddle board, and this is the best hydration pack I have found. It is light, has a little carrying space, holds a lot of water, and I like the high visibility orange so the boaters can see me better. Their is nothing worse than being out in the ocean with nothing to drink, and after getting this, I have not run out of water yet. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  So cute!, August 15, 2011
By 1crazydame
I love this pack! It's not very big at all but it can hold quite a good amount of things. It's not bulky and very light weight. I can even go for a run with it on. I like the style so much, since I don't carry many things around (wallet, keys, gum, cell phone and a few tiny things like bandaids and tweezers...etc), I swapped out my purse and use it as an everyday bag lol! It's perfect for this very active, stay at home mom.
