5.0 out of 5 stars.  I love these cycling shoes!!, April 3, 2011
By MsNYC
These are the perfect cycling shoes for me!
The pink and black of course is so cute and they fit pretty close to size.
I ended up going to a store to have them put the SPD clips on and now they work well on the gym bikes.
They don't scratch the floor if I walk around after class like other shoes.
And Amazon sold them a lot cheaper than I could find in stores and with free shipping!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Spin shoes!, August 27, 2011

Love it! Totally changed my spin experience. True to fit. Keep in mind you need an attachment to clip into the pedals.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  be careful what size you order, September 25, 2011
By CVK (USA)
These shoes run very small. After reading the reviews I ordered them one size bigger than my usual size, and they were still too small. I ended up returning them to amazon and buying the shoes in a local store because I didn't want to order another pair and risk the size being wrong again.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Loved them!!, September 4, 2011
By ajolliff08
Recently fell in love with spin class and wanted to get shoes. I fell in love with these the first time I put them on. Came much quicker than I expected and I wear a 10 women's in normal shoes and these fit perfect. Now I am happily on my way to meeting my fitness goals!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  iZUMIi Cycling Shoes, July 12, 2011
By Jacqueline M. Martini
Love these shoes! They are very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. I used them for Spin Class and I find my workouts to be more robust when wearing cycling shoes versus sneakers. The clips were easy to get and have them installed at my local bike shop. I bought the wrong size on my first attempt and I had no issues with returning them and getting the correct size. Overall this was a great experience, right price, right fit and right timing!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  They do run very small!, January 19, 2012
By austinmom
I tried size 39 of another style of Pearl iZumi cycling shoes and they fit me well. So I ordered 39 of these but they were so much smaller than the other style. I had to return them at my own cost. I ended up finding a pair of size 40 in an REI store and they fit me much better if not too roomy width-wise. They are cheaper too. I use them for my indoor cycling class and they are definitely better than my sneakers in the cages. I did not have any issues with my toes turning numb, but the vinyl tongues of these shoes do cut into my ankle just ever so slightly. The bottom is very hard but I can walk from the parking lot to the cycling room without much problem, and that includes climbing some stairs too. Overall I am glad to have them. Just not happy with having to pay return shipping due to the inconsistent sizing!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  GREAT SPINNING SHOE, October 20, 2011
By Grace (Miami, Fl.)
I had ordered other spinning shoes before and had to return them because I could not walk two steps without slipping... did not want to crack my head open, or deal with the hassle of putting them on only to climb on the bike at the gym and then take them off to go home... I find that very impractical. These worked out exactly as had I hoped; first of all the spinning work-out is 100% better (with AND without clips attached)--they hold your foot in place as they are meant to, and therefore provide stability and greater confidence on the bike. Also, I can walk around and drive with them on--the clips are receded into the hard rubber sole of the shoe and are unobtrusive. Highly recommend for spinning and biking.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  not what I thought, July 11, 2011
By beka_76
I misunderstood this to be an indoor spinning shoe and it's not. Additionally, it seems to be of somewhat poor quality, but that could just be because I'm not familiar with outdoor cycling shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great shoe for spinning, April 22, 2012
By B. Polidore (New York, USA)
I agree with the other reviewers who said to buy a half size larger. I am normally a 9 and I bought a 9.5 and it fit perfectly. I use these for indoor cycling only and they work great. Don't forget to buy the cleats sold separately.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great shoes that look great too at a decent price, but run small, April 5, 2012
By Elise S.
I would probably be rating less if I hadn't read the previous reviews about size. WIth that said, I still wavered about the actual size to get. I was never able to find any sporting goods store that carried cycling shoes so got fed up and started my Amazon search. In retrospect, a bike shop (duh) probably had lots of cycling shoes and the help to go with making a decision what was best for me. I could then go back and shop online Amazon for a better deal.

However, i ended up ordering the size 43 and can sometimes wear a size 9-1/2 US, but often 10's. Definitely a 44 would give me the extra room I needed not to feel tight, but you know, I only wear them for spin class. Walking around in them my toes hit the end, mostly in one foot that is bigger than the other. So, had I opted for the bigger size, my smaller foot might have blisters. It is a snug fit and in one shoe my big toe does hit the end if I walk in them, but so far, great for spin class and I can't tell you the difference they make in performance over a regular running shoe. Wow! However, any good spin shoe is going to make all the difference.

I do have narrow feet anyhow, so it was just the length in one shoe that was an issue for me. I still think this was the best size, but think if you pick a size up from your regular running shoe size you will be in good shape as the velcro tightens them up great.

Other than that, they are good looking and nobody else has any in class that look like them and as previously mentioned, WOW, have I improved my game to a higher performance level wearing them. I really love them and actually want to go push myself harder in class now that I have them. Make note, you have to get the cleats that go with them but they are easy to put on!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Sizing, March 12, 2012

Item shipped faster than expected, but the shoe was too small. I am a 40 in other spin shoes and a 42 in Pearl iZUMi.
Returning was very easy and they have lots of sizes.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Toes Went Numb 2nd Time Worn, September 30, 2011
By Sarasayshi (Fresno)
I just bought these shoes a few days ago. Yesterday I wore them for a 50 min spinning session and they fit rather nicely. They were comfortable! Today I did another 50 min spinning session and 35 minutes in, my toes and balls of my feet went numb. I wear a size 10 and they felt roomie. Even as I walked around in them I could feel my heel slightly lifted so the shoes themselves were not too tight. I'll be returning these and look into another pair of cycling shoes.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good product, cute, true to size, September 29, 2011
By batiface
Bought these as my first spinning shoes. They fit perfect-I usually wear 9-9.5. I bought 9.5. I think they are very cute as well. I took them to my local bike store and had spd clips placed for about 20 bucks. The bike store measured my foot for the clips. I was ready to go for my first class with the shoes, but I have been spinning for years. The whole first class, I felt like I was spinning on my toes and my toes were going numb. I wasn't sure if that was how things were supposed to be with spin shoes and I just needed to get used to the shoes. However, the next class I spoke with a fellow student who said she had clips placed at the same store and was having similar issues. I then spoke with my instructor and she showed me how to use an allen wrench to adjust the clips. It has been 3-4 weeks and after moving the clips 3 more times, I am finally getting used to the shoes. I am not experiencing the numbness as before. I would also suggest wearing the shoes around your house for awhile just to break them in. My instructor also suggested adjusting the bike seat if you are having comfort issues. I am happy with my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Good shoe, November 27, 2011

Good cycling shoe but not much flexibility in the body of the shoe. The shoe fits comfortably in the bike stir ups. Good for indoor cycling but not for outside road cycling.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  zoom zoom, December 19, 2011
By Nacarmen
Purchased these for a spin class at gym. Didn't want to spend that much money on spin shoes, but they were the cheapest. Please order one whole size up. I wear a 9.5-10, depending on the shoe. I purchased a 10. They're exact. Didn't come in size 11. Instead of returning for another pair in a larger size i just wear them without socks.

Cannot really rate this item, purchased a pair & returned. They fit way smaller than they state. Someday I hope to try on a pair, and then I can find out what my size is for Pearl Izumi.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Pearl iZumi cycling shoe, February 22, 2012
By Karla
I purchased these, received them, tried them for a few spin classes and thought what a mistake I made; these shoes are killing me. I thought they ran a little on the small side. I returned them hoping they would exchange them for a larger size because I did like the shoe, just too small. I did get an email stating they had received the shoes and that the larger size would be coming! I waited a tad longer than anticipated, contacted them as to the whereabouts of the replacement shoes and they said they would be on their way shortly. A few days passed and they shoes arrived! They fit fine and are very comfortable. I would rate these shoes good plus and A+ to this vendor. Returned with no questions asked, wonderful!!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Good for spin classes, April 24, 2012
By Grazi
It's good if you don't want to spend too much money on shoes for spinning classes. Its doesn't have enough quality for road cycling. No need to buy a full size bigger like they say in the other reviews. Half size bigger is all you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  SO comfortable!, April 10, 2012

These are by far the most comfortable cycling shoes I've ever owned. They seem to have a lot of cushion compared to my last Pearl Izumi shoes. They are super cute too...I've already gotten lots of compliments about them!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for spin class, April 7, 2012
By Ruffin M (Advance, NC)
These shoes work great for spin class. My feet were aching wearing my sneakers and using the cages on the pedals and my toes were going numb. This has alleviated that. It also really changes the workout and uses different muscles, for what I think is a better workout. I installed the clips myself after watching a How to video online. Have to buy the clips separately. My only complaint would be the sizing. It's tricky. I wear a 9 in althetic shoes and an 8.5 in most other shoes. I ordered a 42 and probably need a 1/2 size smaller. European sizing is just always hard. Can't beat Amazon's price and quick shipping.

I would recommend these shoes.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy to walk in, May 19, 2012
By Kristine
I wear a size 8 in athletic shoes (7.5 in "normal") shoes and ordered a size 40. There happens to be lots of wiggle room but it's not noticeable when I'm on my bike. I bike commute a lot and find these very easy to walk in, albeit minimal clicking. It doesn't feel like normal shoes of course, but it's OK. Construction-wise, you get what you pay for. These aren't the highest quality pair but they do the job. I'm curious to see how long the velcro will last before it stops sticking. Overall, I like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great spinning shoe!, May 15, 2012
By K. Ziegler
The sizing was true and the shoe is really good looking. But the best part is that it is comfortable and I use it for spinning classes 3x a week. Don't use it for outdoor use so can't say how it does there, but for the price it was perfect!!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Spin Shoes, May 13, 2012
By SAE
Bought these for indoor cycling class and they fit well, seem durable and work great with the bikes. I like the fact that you can walk in them fairly well since the cleats fit into the recess int he bottom of the shoe. They feel a bit narrow at the toes, but loosening the Velcro a bit is all that is needed. I feel like these shoes are a great bargain for the Amazon price and I'm happy with my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Where are the medal plates, May 24, 2012
By sphish97
Good shoe, except I was confused because the medal plate to clip into the bike pedal was not part of the shoe and was not in the shoe box. I searched the product description and could not find where it said I would have to buy these separate. Also, wear over the ankle socks, the tong can be a little distracting rubbing against the front of your ankle.
