Great mirror for the money!, October 25, 2011

I purchased this mirror at my local wal mart for $6. I really like the fact that it's small and doesn't get in the way. I'm not sure what other cyclist are looking for in their mirrors but I commute in traffic 11 miles a day and all I need is a quick glance down in my blind spot for cars coming up on me. I don't care what is 100' behind me. One negative about this mirror is after about 4 months of use the tilt adjustment became loose on me and the mirror wouldn't hold adjustment any longer. All you need is a couple of 7/16" O-Rings stretched over the tilt hinge to make it better than new. Can't complain too much because the solution is so simple and cheap. Also, I treated my mirror with Rain-X to prevent fogging up. This mirror is a must have for night time commuting, cars coming up several hundred feet behind you are quickly detected by the headlights in the mirror. Overall this is a great product for the price, just remember to find some O-rings to snug up the adjustment.

Can't live w/o it, September 30, 2011

I don't know why other listings for this product got such horrible reviews. It's so good that I got three of them! Sure, the mirror is small but buyers should understand that prior to the purchase. I love that it folds away and doesn't stick out too much. You can pretty much get any angle on it. It does take awhile to get used to the miniature size, but it does what it's suppose to.
Prior to having these mirrors, I had huge ones that just stuck out way too much. I use this on a mini foldable electric bike and also for a recumbent tricycle. It's perfect. Looks sleek too.

Bicycle mirror, November 8, 2010

This mirror has sleek packaging and the item "appears" to be well made. However, I highly recommend that you do NOT purchase this item. The mirror is
way to small for safe riding. It takes more than a reasonable amount of time to search the small surface area and as such you could endanger yourself by losing
sight of the road ahead. Also, the mirror adjustment for spinning around can not be tightened and is very loose. It will not stay in position. The other two points
of adjustment are fine, but still it is very poorly constructed.

Most liked bike mirror I have used, April 21, 2012

I have used helmet mounted mirror, eyeglass mounted. Larger handle bar mounted and I prefer this small mirror. I still turn my head when needed but this is great to know what is occurring behind at a glance. I really like the small size and low cost. I have used one in FL for a few years now and mirror is starting to pit. But for the money, I understand and time to get a new one.

Breaks too easily., January 10, 2012

I also purchased these mirrors at Wallyworld and had one that came with my second-hand trike. They are small, which is nice for sleekness and the fold-away ability, but you are not able to see a whole lot with them. Installation is simple. So far, I have had 3 of them crack at the base of the mirror, right at the back. Apparently, the plastic is not very stiff and there is little support so pushing on the mirror itself for adjustment leads to this problem. I would recommend you look elswhere if you are able.

disappointing, October 31, 2010

I bought this mirror for $6 at walmart and I will be returning it. First, the pros: it is very adjustable (4 axes of rotation), was very easy to install, and was very stable while riding. But the cons outweigh the pros for me. The mirror size is too small, such that you need to have it very precisely adjusted in order to see behind you, and even then it has a very narrow field of view. On my drop handlebars, the mirror is further away from your eyes, so it's even harder to make use of it. also, on my drop handlebars, no matter which way I gripped the bars it was always hard to see the mirror because my arm was in the way. not to mention the fact that every time your drop your head to scrutinize the mirror (it takes more than a casual glance because of the small size), you risk veering off direction.
