Beautiful bike, no problems., June 25, 2011

Don't know what happened with the other reviewer, but we got this bike for our teen daughter and it is beautiful. The seat and handlebars are a pretty contrast to the teal-blue of the bike. She is proud of it and rides it to the store for me 2-3 times a week. :) Added a nice Nantucket type basket to the front too. Have had it 4 months, and have had no problems. Glad we chose this one. :)

it's not the bike's fault, April 7, 2012

I found this bike and when it first arrived I was so excited that it had arrived that I didn't even care that the box had huge holes in it as long as the whole bike was in it. Well, the whole bike was in the box...I just wasn't able to put it together because the parts that should have attached to the front wheel to hold it in place were so bent that I couldn't get the wheel on. There was also already a cut in the leather of one of the handle bars. So, I sent it back and had another one shipped to my house. This one arrived in the same kind of box with pretty much the exact size and placement of large holes in the box, I think, due to bad packaging. I was unable to get this bike's front wheel on for the same reason as the last. I'm waiting on a refund.
The bike itself is beautiful. I just wish that I had had a chance to ride it.

Worst Bike Ever..., May 17, 2011

When I started putting this bike together I was a bit intimidated because of all the parts. So I looked in the box for the "instruction" manual... it didn't come with one! what it did come with was a universal manual with directions only showing how to tighten parts for safety and how to install training wheels... It's an adult bike. So I asked a friend to come help. Well once we figured out where everything went the parts did not fit. The holes for the pedals were not drilled wide enough for the pedals to screw into, great. Then the front fender was bent and hits the wheel as it spins. I thought I was getting a good quality bike, but instead I got a headache. It's getting sent back. I rate this bike a 1 out of 10. The only reason it even got a 1 is because it was a nice color. thumbs down. Worst bike ever.

Good Value, January 5, 2012

The first bike I ordered never showed up in the carrier's system. Amazon quickly shipped a new one and my experience has been quite positive. The package arrived with several holes torn in the box but no damage to the bike with the exception of a lost nut for the fender to fork bolt. This was a typical assembly of any shipped bike I have either purchased or shipped myself. It was easy and quick to assemble. It took about 10 minutes. The finish is very good and the color combination is exactly what my adult daughter wanted. Teal is somewhat unusual and contrasts well with the tan seat and grips. I'm confident it will provide years of riding enjoyment.

nice bike, minus the dents from shipping!, March 26, 2012

I have to say that this is a well made bike, and would have been something I really enjoyed...but it is so dented I can't even ride it! The protection in the packaging was so lacking that the chain cover is dented and rubs the chain, the seat leather has a hole in it, and both fenders are so bent that they rub the tires. I would ship it back for a refund, but the box was so torn up from shipping it to my house I can't even put it back in it! I was really hoping that it wasn't going to be messed up and that I would have no problems since it's almost 200 dollars for this bike, but no such luck. Oh well...guess now it can be a very expensive paper weight or something because it isn't even usable it is so dented. (I took pictures if anyone would like to see them)

If only ..., April 16, 2012

It might have been a wonderful bike..but, it arrived without assembly instructions and once we decoded the "how things work" pamphlet, we realized there were pieces missing. Most notably the seat post. As mentioned in the previous reviews the packaging was horrible! I can't imagine how the company believed an item weighing as much as a bike, could possibly make the journey to a customer's door with a box with all the reinforcement of a shoe box. To make matters a bit worse...I was willing to try to work things out...but, not only did it not include assembly instructions, it also lacked a replacement part list.
The UPS man will be picking the bike up to be returned in the morning. I'm just sorry I didn't take earlier reviews at their word. If it were possible to give no stars at all, I would. The product is worthless without all the parts needed to assemble.
