5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent Bladerunner but not true to size., April 10, 2011
By Joel DePeri (NY metro)
This bladerunner is an excellent value. Well made quality product. My son has a size 1.5 shoe and he fits comfortably at the size 3 sizing on this bladerunner. We are happy with this because its important that his foot fits snugly. But if a parent had a child that had a size 3+ they would be better served going for the larger size
bladerunner.

Kids can tell the difference between not so good skates and great skates....these are great skates! We had bought a cheaper version and they were awful, these are great!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Rollerblades for Little Feet, March 24, 2011
By C.T. Madlena (Atlanta)
I was a bit concerned of this purchase as there were only a couple reviews at the time, but we have found these to be the best 'big boy skate' for a little foot. Our 5 year old is very small for his age, but a very good skater. It was wonderful to find a high quality skate by a proven company for a very reasonable price. Thanks!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Runs Small, April 24, 2011
By scornellier (Lowell, MA United States)
The skates seem to be of good quality; however, they run small. I purchased the size 4-7 since my son wears a size 5 shoe. They barely fit him on the largest setting, and are almost too snug. I'm a bit disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Skates for Boys, February 20, 2011
By S. Archer (Cary, North Carolina, USA)
I just purchased a pair of these skates locally and both I and my son are very pleased with them. Bladerunner is a brand owned by Rollerblade, so the quality, as far as I am concerned, is excellent. We bought them yesterday and used them at the local rink today. There was much to celebrate! Buy with confidence. Recommended. Oh, and I also go these for my daughter and she was equally delighted: Rollerblade Bladerunner Phaser Girls Kids 4 Size Expandable Skate.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Does not expand that much! Certainly not a 6 or 7., December 25, 2011
By Kevin, Kelly, Adam, & Keylow (Portland, OR)
We purchased two of these for our boys. One wears a regular shoe size of 5 and the other wears a size 6. The item stated that they would fit sizes 4 - 7. These skates did not fit either of our kids and they were barefooted. They seem like very nice skates and they were disappointed that these could not be played with on Christmas day, however, I would not recommend buying them if your child wears any show size other than a 4.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Very happy, June 7, 2011
By myamira

Skates arrived promptly and were in good condition. Very good quality. Took my son to the skating rink last week and he said they felt good and were easy to skate in. Thanks to those who mentioned they ran small. My son is approaching size 3, but I purchased the 4-7 size and they are a good fit on the smaller adjustment.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Rollerblade Bladerunner runs very small., December 28, 2011
By Mother Hen
I had a disappointed kiddo this Christmas when his Rollerblades were too small. He normally wears a size 5 (big kid/junior), so I figured the size 4-7 skates would be perfect. Alas, on the biggest size, it was still too small. Another of my kids got the same pair of skates, which fit their size 3 (big kid/junior) feet just fine on the size 5 1/2 setting.

Come on, Rollerblade, you're not even close to true sizing.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  My 9 year old LOVES these rollerblades, December 21, 2011
By Baleeve (MA, United States)
I bought these this month for my 9 year old son on his birthday.

He LOVES them. They glide perfectly. Fit great! I find them to be great quality. They are not the cheap plastic type you find in the toy stores. They are well made.

Hi highly recommend them.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  LATCH BROKE DURING FIRST 10 MINUTES, October 26, 2011
By MamaInAustinTX
I bought two pairs of these for my kids. My 5 year old son had these on for about 10 minutes in the driveway when I noticed his left foot was turned inward. When I checked, the top latch was undone and the tiny plastic piece the latch locks onto (it's about 1/4 cm wide and 1/2 cm tall) had broken off. Fortunately, Amazon says we can exchange them even though they are not in "like new" condition. Fingers crossed the new pair lasts. If not, we will have to either find a way to deal with their faulty design, or find another brand that works better.

Nice quality. Beats the cheaply priced and super low quality ones. Kids can actually use and enjoy this one. No complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for children, September 17, 2011
By SkateCommuter
These are great for children. They adjust with the size of their feet so they'll last a long time. I was advised to buy a skate bigger than what I thought. I am glad I did - my 4 year old boy skates around in the 4-7 size skate which is at the small end of the size setting - so he has room to grow. They are comfy for him and so he love skate in them. I recommend paying a bit extra to get quality skates for your children like these - rather than the cheap and nasty ones you see in toy stores.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Shipped wrong size, May 3, 2012
By Claudia
You shipped the wrong size. Can not return them, since I live in Southamerica and cant send them back. My son (4 years ) is very dissapointed. I can use them for my 8 year , but it was extremely dissapointing when unpacking the box wit his NEW rollers and now they are for his sister.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  These rollerblades are awesome!!, March 29, 2012
By Ker-bear
I've never ordered from Amazon before, especially "used" skates. Well, I will look on here before going to the store. The rollerblade brand in itself is one of the best. The skate is soft and has the double latch so you can tighten it up. The color/design on it looks really nice too. As far as the "used" skate, they looked brand new to me and the plastic tag was still on them. I would definitely go through this seller again. Not only did the skates look like new, but it only took two days for them to arrive. Needless to say, we are very excited about our purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Blade runner, January 29, 2012
By Anna
The shoe is fine. Comfy but run really small. Around 4-5. Not 7. The wide is also quite narrow if you have a wide feet, it is not going to fit.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Much too small, January 27, 2012
By S. Hurley (raleigh, nc)
State size is 4-7, but highest setting (7) was much too small for my son's size 4 1/2 foot. Looks like a great skate otherwise, but is poorly sized. I would consider ordering it if my child's foot were in the size 2-3 range.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Solid skate. Have not tried the adjustment feature yet., January 17, 2012
By VALHALLEY
"Santa" bought these for my 6-year-old. He flew by looking and feeling confident. Solid construction (so far!) MUCH better quality than cheaply-made skates sold at Walmart or Target. *Sigh* now to purchase another pair for my other child!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  GOOD SKATE, January 10, 2012
By Joyce Miller
Bought these for grandchildren. They run smooth and quiet. The kids love them. They are much better than the
Hornet ones that I purchased for the younger boy which the brake broke off of the first time he wore them. I would definately recommend these.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice quality, January 8, 2012
By Arief Irwan Latif
Excellent quality product for the price. 3 year old loved it. Got going on his own after 1/2 hour of trying This is the second pair, he over grew the smaller size. Make sure you check the sizing, it is expandable but not by much.
