4.0 out of 5 stars.  Some things good, other things not so good, April 10, 2010
By VS
So I got this bike because it looked really pretty and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bike, though I love to ride and my last one got stolen. So I got it fast and everything seemed ok but when putting it together, the handle bars (where you insert them to connect them to the bike) seemed to be a little out of line and I had to use a tool to hammer the metal to the perfect shape in order to fit in the insert for the handle bars. I eventually go it to work and that was ok. Also for some reason the other day when I was riding (I have had the bike for close to a month now and everything seems pretty good so far) but the pedal fell off. And I know I put it on there securely because it has been good for a month of riding, but it fell off in the middle of my riding, so I was a little disappointed in that. I love the bike, the color, and I cant afford another right now so I hope that these minor things won't continue to cause me trouble. Overall, its a good bike.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  lisac, May 31, 2010
By lisac (Southwest VA)
I received this bike a couple of weeks ago for a mother's day/anniversary gift. I love the look of the bike and it is pretty comfy except the seat is too low for my height (5'9"). I have to order a special seatpost to make my seat higher so I will be able to extend my legs while riding. I read a review that the pedal fell off so my husband took extra care in tightening the pedal. We rode up and down our street several times with no problems except the handle bars and brakes needed extra tightening. Yesterday we drove over an hour to a trail for a bike ride. I was riding along just fine and suddenly my right pedal fell off and I crashed. I scratched my legs up pretty bad and am now scared to ride the bike. I was just lucky that my baby's trailer was attached to my husband's bike instead of mine. She could have been injured.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Perfect birthday gift for a 10 year old, March 1, 2011
By Book loving Granny (Columbia, MD USA)
We gave our ten year old granddaughter this bike for her birthday in January. As soon as the snow melted in February her mother assembled it (an easy job according to her) and Anna was off and riding! She loves the bike and it is very sturdy and well made. It's also blue, her favorite color.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great basic mountain bike, May 6, 2011
By Stace (Northern California)
We got this bike for our 10 year old daughter. The teal is perfect for my girl who hates purple and pink. The bike was easy to assemble, looks like it will be easy to ride. Great bike!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good solid bike, January 17, 2011
By LDS Homeschooling Mom (The Bayou)
Got the bike put together and found the front rim was bent. Called Amazon and they sent a replacement bike out right away. Took the bent rim off, added the new rim and UPS picked the other bike back up. Can't beat the service with Amazon. The bike is great, very sturdy and should last my daughter quite a while.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  very low quality, hard to tune, October 5, 2011
By Webwalker (U.S.)
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is taller in her class. but I still need to lower the seat, she said the seat is too hard. also it is difficult to change gears, too hard.

It is a heavy bicycle, even I can hold it with ease, but for little girl, it is too heavy. for booy it is OK, but it is girl's style.

hope she still likes it next year.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice Bike, Wrong Color, August 10, 2011
By Janellie
The bike is nice, but I ordered lavender & received some shade of bright blue. Not very happy, but not willing to pay to send it back!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice bike, pedal problems, May 15, 2011
By jg
Bike is beautiful, however we did have a problem with the pedal coming off. Because I had read about this issue in other reviews, I was careful to install tightly. The first time my daughter rode the bike, the right pedal flew off. We were lucky she caught herself & did not wreck. Reinstalled with lock-tight to secure and so far, so good. Aside from the pedal safety issue, she enjoys the bike/rides nicely/looks great.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Hard to Fix., December 8, 2010
By haha
I got the package and its little hard to fix it. Better instructions could be helpful.

Also, I couldn't get the from brakes working properly even after lots of tuning. I wish its something simple than that.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Looks good but falls apart quickly, January 20, 2012
By Charlotte Brewer
The bike arrived quickly but was damaged so extensively that I had to have the wheels straightened at a bike shop before it could be ridden. In addition, the brakes were very far out of adjustment, the shifters were completely misaligned, the paint was scratched, the stickers were all torn and damaged, and the handle bar was bent. After a few hours of work and a few dollars spent on repairs, I was able to give it to my daughter. She loved it and the bike looked very nice. However, I immediately began noticing that it deteriorated at a surprising rate. Within a couple of days, the brakes had worn down and had to be re-adjusted. This became an every-two-day routine maintenance. Within 4 weeks, the brakes were completely worn through and needed replacement. Today, 5 months into its life, the pedals broke in half and I am off to the sporting goods store to get a new bike. Save yourself the aggravation and skip this bike and this vendor.
