broke after a couple of years of light use, June 19, 2009

bought this hoping it would last longer than typical cheaper aluminum bottle cages. used it on my mountain bike for a couple of years. i'm a cross-country rider and ride some bumpy stuff but nothing radical. it broke across the welds that hold the cage to the mounting part.

Cages holding up great to extra tall bottles on a hard tail MTB, July 12, 2011

I have two of these cages on a mountain bike. I also like to use the tallest water bottles that will fit on my 20 in. frame. Not once have the bottles come loose after tough rock gardens and two crashes. I did a lot of research before buying these b/c I was sick of bending and breaking cages. Great product. It is good to see some product designers are listening.

Does what it was meant to do, August 7, 2008

The cage mounts easily, has a smooth satin finish, and is very light. It holds my 24-oz insulated bottle very well during those neighborhood bike rides with the family.

My favorite water bottle cages, April 26, 2012

I've been using Blackburn stainless steel bottle cages for a few years now. I've only broken one or two of the dozen I have used. They are light weight with a nice finish and a good build quality. The breaks I've had happened at the welds as they are pretty thin but clean. I still buy them as they are a low cost alternative to a King Cage.
I highly recommend these bottle cages. The added benefit is that your wattle bottles don't get marked up like with aluminum bottle cages.

Awesome!, January 25, 2008

Light weight, very strong, and cheap! I enjoy longer rides, so I like to keep myself well hydrated. This is a very well made bottle holder; and it does not mark up your bottles!
