Great fit at a fair price, May 23, 2011

Pearl iZUMi, as most cyclist already know, has been in the game for a long, long time. This experience shows in the Attack socks. They have an excellent fit and are slighly taller than the original. They are not, however, as tall as the currently popular style of "park-freeride-downhill type" socks that go to the base of the calf- almost like a tube sock... I remember the original Pearl iZUMi socks I wore growing up in the '80's... now those were very short, just bearly over the ankle bone... I also welcome the black verses the old white color only- I mountain bike and do alot of trail work, so the black is much better for not showing the dirt and grime of these activities. Because they are so close fitting and stretchy I don't expect them to last much more than a season, but if they do, great, bonus. For a great fitting riding sock from a core Colorado cycling company, these are delivering- and if they last into fall, they will get the last star!

Fantastic socks, March 23, 2012
By Robert Fallstich (Bethlehem, PA United States)

I wear these to run/cycle in and to work as breathable socks.
They are fantastically breathable and comfortable. Compared to mass produced cotton socks, I've never thought my feet were too hot or too moist no matter my footwear (I wear composite safety toe work boots). The height is adequate for my applications in running and cycling, and since they are not specific to being boot socks I can't really penalize them for not being quite tall enough. The stitching is virtually impossible to feel across the toes, at the ankle, or around the Achilles.
I expected nothing less than fantastic from Pearl Izumi and they certainly delivered.

I'm ordering a second pair, March 25, 2012
By N. Vo (Los Angeles, CA)

I bought this to help for my cycling. It's great. Then I started to use it to run. My shoe size is 7.5D. And these fit me really well. I'm going for a second order.

This is an great deal!, December 16, 2011

The fit and material of the socks are awesome. It covers just above the ankle and it doesn't bothers at all. If 1 pair is good, the price for the 3 becomes a great deal.

Great Socks, December 15, 2011
By Clipper

Having logged thousands of mile in my bicycle over many years, I have had opportunity to try many socks for many supliers. Same shoes, different socks.
These are comfortable, durable, washable, and cool. None better, in my opinion.

Awesome socks!, September 29, 2011

Over the last year I've been buying and trying various brands of lightweight breathable socks. I love these and will buy more. My only gripe is with the seller, HDO Sport. I went back to order a couple more 3 packs and you doubled your price.

Very thin if you are used to thicker socks. I will be wearing more in the warmer weather and update.

Purchased 3 pairs for biking and the product has exceeded all of my expectations. After 2-3 hours of riding a bike my feet remain dry - this has never happened before. Great buy - highly recommended.

excellent quality socks, April 11, 2012
By maxiesemma

In cycling thin is better, these are thin.also i found i need a sock that doesn't have any ridges at all, and be perfectly smooth.this sock is perfect and it's thinner along the top than at the bottom,so it breathes.what i like about them is they come in black not traditional white(if you want to maintain a lower profile). another small thing is you can spot them in the sock drawer easily - i have black shorts, other black socks, and the white logo stands out!

Lint Ball Catcher, April 3, 2012
By Jim Scales (Winston Salem, NC)

If you but these socks you better wash them by hand and hang dry because any other way you will get huge amounts of lint balls.Once attached they never leave. I purchase all kinds of PI products which I love but these suck. A waste of money.
