A must have, December 1, 2009
By L. German (Kansas, US of A, baby!!)

Very comfortable, stays put. Does not over heat, does not stops blood flow. easy to hand wash. Have been using them (4ea) since last year with military PT gear due to USAF lack of common sense on PT gear, mayor flaws on PT gear design... build by the blind (really, look it up!). Will recommend to anyone planning on exercising in public with actual USAF PT gear, A MUST HAVE!!

Under Armour Blows!, April 16, 2011
By Justin
|
|
I have owned a lot of compression shorts being a rugby player since 8th grade and most of the guys on my team used to have Under Armour (UA) but my mates have all switched to Nike they're thinner so they stay in place opposed to UA shorts which have a tendency to ride up on the legs and ride down on the waist, so say no to crack. I have torn UA and despite being thinner they stretch better so they haven't ripped even in 3 years of collegiate rugby.

Like the product for running in cool weather - under my wind pants - and especially for riding on my motorcycle - under my motorcycle jeans. Medium too small for me; a 33 inch waist. Will order a larger size in future

bike accident, August 21, 2011
By Robert D. Mitchem

Nike Pro Compression Shorts I have been wearing these shorts for activities about 2 years now. They are very comfortable. Great work on the seams and size charts were right on for me. At the beginning of August I was biking to work with the shorts under my gym shorts. I got a little shaky and over corrected and put the front wheel at a 90 degree angle with the rest of the bike. Of course I flew over the front of the bars and caught the handle bar just below the grown and in the thigh. I dragged my bike and myself out of the street but could not really comprehend why I couldn't get the bike off my leg. Finally I kick it with the other foot and it came lose. People called my wife and she took me to the ER. While at the ER my arms were what hurt the most and I just mentioned that I thought that I may have bruised my grown. They told me to take off my shorts. When I did there was blood on the compression shorts. Just thinking it was a minor cut because there wasn't a bunch of blood there, I removed the compression short. These short's probably saved me from a lot more pain. The handle of the bike had caused a 6" laceration and then pocketed its self 4" more into my leg and about 2" deep all the way to the muscle. The short's had kept the bar from going in any farther and also had helped keep the blood from escaping. The shorts did not even have a rip or tear in them. I came out with two broken elbows, 13 staples, and the doctor lost count of how many stitches inside the wound. But I'm alive. Thank you Nike for making such a superb quality of product. They will have my business for life.

Ok but run small, May 19, 2011

The product is slightly different than advertised (although what they send is actually the newer product), but they do run small like most compression shorts. I am a medium-large but should have gotten an X-L

comfortable, not durable, February 7, 2012
By R. Butler (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Nike Pro-Core compression shorts are extremely comfortable to wear and are very useful for wicking sweat and keep everything in place. You don't even notice that you are wearing compression shorts they are so comfortable. However, I have had experience with holes forming with the shorts. It has taken approximately 6 months for holes to form in the compression shorts. The holes, which have formed in the crotch and along the waistband seam, cause chafing and irritation. If you are looking for a more durable compression short, may I suggest the more durable Under Armour compression shorts. Men's UA HeatGearŪ Compression Shorts Bottoms by Under Armour
Overall, Nike Pro-Core Compression Shorts are a very comfortable pair of compression shorts, just beware that they didn't last long for me and they may not last long for you.

Shorts with multi purpose - Must have, January 16, 2012
By Soccer Maniac (okc, OK USA)

Very comfortable to use for ANY ACTIVITY. Running,Soccer,Gym,Swimming. They are made 2 be fitting so the sizing depends on how compression you want- (run small like most compression shorts). East to wash and drys really fast.I own couple of pairs and I use them 3-4 times (weekly). After 6 months they still hold the shape and comfortable. I mainly use them for running and soccer. Add a little more support to your quads. Well worth the extra $$$

Comfortable, lightweight and durable. Great decision, good price. Been to the gym, played football in these, wash them damn near everyday and they still keep their shape and perform as new. I've had them for a while now too and they were a great buy.

Great shorts, June 30, 2011
By S. Glass (TX USA)

I am a thick build with 42 waist and the XXL size is just right. I wear these shorts for just about anything in the summer. They are great for exercise or any outdoor activity. They wick sweat away and don't ride up your crack like boxers or briefs. They don't chafe and rub like briefs do either. The hamstring and quad support provided by these shorts is great for running and walking. Nike does a good job with this short. If you need a good compression short for athletics, or even if you just need different underwear because you are tired because briefs chafe and wedge up your crack, boxers aren't tight enough and boxer briefs don't stay in place, I would definitely give these a try. They are well worth the money. I bought two pair to try and I now own 10 pair.

Great compression shorts, March 26, 2011
By Semper FI (Miami, FL USA)

I love these shorts, they're perfect to keep legs warm to prevent injuries or just to be ready. Do not pull on the white tag on the back (I always do this with everything since it's uncomfortable) and since I'm a beast I just pulled it instead or cutting it so now I got a tear on the back that's slightly growing. It's all good tho, nice ventilation system. I'll buy another pair soon because these ones smell like a dead bum from using it 3-4 times a week.

Great compression for the price; girls can wear too., May 21, 2012
By Kit (San Francisco, CA, US)

Except for 2xu men's compression shorts (which now cost too much for me) these 20 dollar babies are my favorite compression wear. They are thinner and more comfortable but give decent compression. If you wore 2 pair, you would have similar compression to 2XU.
PROS: Wide waist band that is not too tight, and not too low-riding. Thin enough to be a base layer, under your clothes. FLatlock seams in places that will not rub on the male nor female anatomy. Contrast stitching makes them look snazzy, nike logo on leg is sturdy and discrete. Good for females too, except penis panel is so wide its seams must be pulled up an inch or cut into your chub rub area, and it lets your belly flab
CONS: Not as much compression as outer layer, too little support in abdomen. Can RIDE up, especially if your legs are skinny. Not much, though.
I am going to buy about 4 more pairs. I hear they wear out faster than some.

Great shorts, April 18, 2012
By Erich A. Mabray

I'm in the Army and these are great undershorts. They don't compress as much as a Bike brand, but they have no logo on their leg so they're perfect to wear in uniform. Plus the seam is not in the middle so there's no chafing.
These dry out fairly quickly and the waistband is secure without being constricting. These also hold up to multiple washings with no fading or fraying.
I've bought 4 pair with no regrets.

PERFECT FOR RECREATIONAL RUNNING, April 13, 2012
By -Roman (Sasebo, Japan)

I have owned several types of compression shorts from numerous manufactureres (UA, Saucony, Etc.) and for my money these shorts fit the bill. I wear them daily during runs averaging 2-4 miles and they prevent chaffing extremely well and help my quads and hams to feel more relaxed.
