Purpose of glove to reduce pressure on nerves in palms, June 26, 2011
By Gam Kagan
|
|
I mountain bike 4 day's a week for 1 to 2 hours per day. I have experienced nerve pain in both the left and right side of my palms. I looked for a glove with the most gel padding in those two areas with which to ease the pain. These gloves fit the bill, and I have been having a much more enjoyable riding experience. I'm only giving the gloves a 4 star rating, because after 3 months of riding, the gel has pretty much consolidated to the rear of the glove, thus reducing some of it's comfort from my palms. Note, I do use the gloves in conjunction with the Ergon GPS-1 grips, which have been amazing because they widen out the surface area of the grips, thus putting less pressure on any single point of my palm's.

Comfy gloves, easy to remove, June 20, 2011
By Samantha Richter (WA, USA)

These gloves have enough padding to alleviate the stress I was feeling in my hands when I took up biking recently. They work well for road and mountain biking and the grips for removing them make taking them off a breeze. Would definitely buy more, in fact I'm already thinking of buying another pair to match my mountain bike a bit better, as these go best with my cross bike.

Very Good Gloves, April 17, 2012
By DaveC

Gloves arrived timely and as described. The two pulls over the two middle fingers of each glove do make them easier to remove. Glove sizing from all manufaturers is a little erratic and I have small hands but typically purchase large gloves but in this instance the medium size was perfect. The gel inserts seem to be placed well and I have not experienced any tingling the few times I have used them so far and I am hoping that they will hold up even though the gel seems thin. On the whole a very good pair of gloves.
