This bike reminds me of Corona beer with a lime stuck in the mouth. Truth, we invented this drink. It was Puerta Vallarata, 1983. We had some extra limes at the table and yours truly was feeling adventuresome. Hey, try THIS! Corona beer was the cheapest beer around and the lime made it taste even better. That, or maybe the afternoon sun. Who knew the lime drinking technique would become so popular? Just like this bike. Then Bud Light stole the idea with Bud Light Lime. I don't know for sure about biking while drinking laws (BWD), but it's never a good thing. This bike hauls A** and you better have all your wits about you.
Optional Tire/Seat Package Upgrades:
OK, so you can see in the Tire/Seat Package options that the balloon upgrades available for Pedego bikes make the bike look different - and cost more! But what's the big deal? The balloon upgrade is distinguished by hand-stitched, padded hand grips; a padded suspension seat; and Schwalbe "Fat Frank" tires. The tires have Schwalbe Kevlar Guard built in to help prevent flats. So the balloon upgrade gives you incredible looks and superior performance as well.

PEDEGO was conceived in 2007 to create a line of electric bikes that combine style and function to open up cycling to anyone who might otherwise not be getting the benefits from bike riding. PEDEGO bike is just like a regular bicycle with a quiet built-in electric hub motor to provide additional assistance. You can pedal normally and just use the motor to help out on hills and headwinds or use the motor all the time just to make riding easier. The experience is entirely different from riding a gas scooter or motorbike. The electric assistance is perfectly smooth and silent, which complements, rather than supplants, human power.
