5.0 out of 5 stars.  Quick and EZ for real, July 13, 2010
By Robin Arora MD (Shreveport, LA, US)
InStep Quick N EZ Double Bicycle Trailer
After a long search i settled on the Quick N EZ Double Bicycle Trailer from InStep. Packaging was good. Assembly took me around 20 minutes as most of the trailer is pre assembled. No assembly tool required. We just need to lift up the side rails, slide in the tires, bring the tow forward. Installing the connector on the bike took another 10 minutes. I have Shwinn S25.The only thing missing on my trailer was the desired psi of the tires as they come deflated. As per the manual there should be psi ratings on the tires side. I guess the sticker was missing on the ones that i got. Anyways, i just went online and looked at the various instep manuals. Desired air pressure on the tires is 20-25psi and 25psi is recommended for a smooth ride. After i assembled i took it for a ride with my son (he is 27 months old). Pulling this trailer is easy and smooth. Since its double trailer, it has three seat belt options. If you are riding with one kid, you have to use the one in the center. If you have two kids in the trailer, you can use the two side seat-belts which really helps to balance the trailer.
It comes with a handle bar and front tire attachment to use it as a jogging stroller. Its a good option, especially with the brake system but i don't need it at present.
I will rate this trailer 5 stars because of strong build and quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent value, September 11, 2010
By G. (Riverside, CT USA)
This market seems to be divided into the super-expensive "luxury" trailers and the cheaper ones. This one is 1/4 of the price of some of the luxury models (one of which I also have). It is just as good - light, tows well, child likes sitting in it, good safety, folds easily. Maybe the front cover doesn't work as well but that seems to be a minor issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Value, September 6, 2010
By Boaters R Us (Madison, WI)
We have used this trailer a few times with our toddler (14 mos.) and love it. It is easy to use (easy hook up to our bikes) and pulls very easily.
One thing we wish were a little better designed is that the storage area at the back is not separated from where she sits very well and she can reach around and grab what ever we try to store back there - not a huge issue but if there is something that we don't want her to have (i.e. phone or camera) we have to keep them elsewhere.
Overall a great value.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great as a bike trailer, not too great as a stroller!, April 29, 2011
By IT Dad
We got this stroller for our 4 year old and his little sister. The first night we got it, I assembled it with ease. The instructions were very easy to follow and the whole assembly seemed very sturdy. My 4 year old son was ecstatic! He wanted to go out for a bike ride immediately even though it was already dark outside. From 7am the next morning until he got back from school at 10:30 am, it was non stop "when are we going to ride the bike?!" That afternoon, I hooked up the trailer and put the kids in it and off we went. I was amazed that with the combined weight of the kiddos and the trailer itself I was able to pedal around easily! Both kids thought it was so much fun. Apparently, being encased in plastic and vinyl and towed behind a bicycle is the epitome of cute because every time we passed by anyone on the street or in their yard it was "Awwwww..." or "so cute..." or "how sweet...!"

Later in the month, though, we needed to use it as a stroller. I unhitched the trailer from my bike and attached the included front wheel. We loaded the kids up and were off. When we put the slightest bit of weight on the front wheel, however; the PLASTIC bracket twisted and cracked! I had to spend the rest of the time balancing the thing on the back two wheels. I would return it, but I'd just get another one with another PLASTIC bracket! My father in law has an arc welder and I'm taking it to him to get a METAL bracket installed.

If you use this product for a bike trailer, it's great! But beware; if you use the stroller option, either get a metal bracket for it or DO NOT put ANY weight on the front wheel!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  90% Satisfied., December 12, 2010
By BraddahRobski1208
Product came quickly.
Extremely easy to assemble. I say again, EXTREMELY EASY TO ASSEMBLE.
Bright and highly visible although I attached a strobing red LED (SPOK LIGHT) for added visibility to the rear. I would recommend more high-visibility/reflective piping on its design, but for the most part I avoid riding on streets if possible.
My daughter loves keeping the screen down and the weather shield b/c it feels like her own little mobile tent.
Plenty of storage in the back for a cooler, blanket, and more.
Trails smoothly and you can't tell there's a kid inside unless he/she's at load capacity.
Delta: The seat is like a hammock and isn't very supportive. It slouches. My daughter's back arches, but I guess it's a sacrifice for it's foldability. (I don't ride long enough to discomfort the little one.) In addition, when she wears her helmet, her head is nodded forward a bit b/c the helmet touches the seat. Not comfortable in any sense. If there was a panel w/ hook/loop that could compensate for helmet use, that would be keen.
Delta: Push handle could be more sturdy, but I understand it's designed more as a trailer than a stroller. It'd be pretty big and cumbersome as a stroller (for parents) but fun and roomy (for the kids).
Otherwise, I'm totally satisfied with this product except for a few modifications I would suggest to the design. Happy Safe Riding everyone! -- Robski.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  UNSAFE AS STROLLER, FRONT BRACKET BREAKS, May 6, 2011
By Ant Farmer (USA Midwest)
This trailer can be used as a trailer when the front wheel is inserted in a plastic bracket at the front.
The vertical shaft of the front 3rd wheel fits through a hole in the front bracket, and the bracket is attached to the metal frame with two bolts that do not have washers.
On a recent walk with our toddler in the trailer, configured as a stroller, the bolts holding the bracket to the frame pulled through the soft plastic and the wheel fell off.
This was miles from home. Getting trailer and toddler home at such a distance was a major pain. Under other circumstances, there could have been a severe injury rather than just sore muscles from carrying a toddler such a distance.
This product should be taken off the market as unsafe until they redesign the front plastic bracket, which is think cheap and weak. If you do use this as a stroller, put washers behind the bolt heads to keep the bolts from pulling through the plastic.
Customer service was horrible and I got the big run-around and wasted a lot of time on hold on the phone. getting transferred from department to department with no one taking responsibility to correct the problem.
When I finally offered to file a complaint with a consumer protection agency, I finally got a call back from someone in the liability department, who took me seriously and offered to send a replacement bracket. Next time I call a lawyer.
Older models have had recalls for safety issues. This model should definitely be recalled, since the design of the front bracket is poor and unsafe. The plastic part should be much more solid, have washers behind bold heads, or be made of metal to prevent failure and injury.
Please use extreme caution when doing the conversion to stroller mode and have a backup plan for getting home if the front wheel falls off.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  ALMOST perfect, January 26, 2011
By Sarah T.
We got this jogger last spring, and its great, overall. Both of my kids fit in it comfortably (I have a 4yr-old and a 2yr-old), the color makes for good visibility, and the wheels move smoothly. The only drawback is that since we use this mainly as a stroller, not a bike trailer, the front end is too light. It bounces around if I actually run with it, as opposed to just walking. To reiterate, when I push it at a walk, no problem. When I speed up to a run, the front tire bounces around from lack of weight.
If this manufacturer could figure out a way to distribute some of the weight toward the front, they'd have a perfect product.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Works Well; Prepare to be Underwhelmed, May 30, 2011
By John Doudna (Central Iowa)
A lot of the parents I work with have bike trailers: old and new, expensive and cheap. I saw so many Burleys, and I read all the great reviews on them. I went to their website and saw all the pictures of happy families enjoying life. I was about this close (holds fingers about 1/16th of an inch apart) from buying the mid-level Burley, since it is the only one you can add stroller wheels to. Did you know you can take it into the grocery store - they show you on the website! Then I slept on it. And I realized I should have another look around. I found a top ten list someone made for bike strollers. (Maybe it was a "plant" by InStep, but I doubt it.) A previous model of this was rated number one (the video is somewhere on YouTube). OK. Let's take one more look. Either these reviewers don't know what 5 stars means, or this is one heckuva bike trailer for less than $100. It even includes the stroller wheel. Ordered it. Got it. Was underwhelmed by the material - stiff and loud. The windows are vinyl-y plastic. Straps are un-padded. Front wheel is big, hard and sticks out too far to ever take into a grocery store. My daughter wanted a ride right away, but it was too windy to attach to the bike, so we strolled. It was awesome. Wheelies were really easy! Next day we rode to school. Handled great. I never felt any significant pull, other than the extra 50 pounds I was pulling (trailer plus daughter). I never felt like it was going to tip despite some semi-sharp turns and really crummy sidewalks. She did want the front vinyl down, because she didn't like all the wind. So, of course she got too hot (even though there is a back mesh window), and we couldn't talk anymore. We are used to long conversations on our bike rides, as she previously rode in one of those front-mounted iBert deals. Other than that, it was good though. If you leave it out when it rains, it gets puddles in it - found that out.
Conclusion: looks really cheap next to the expensive Burleys it sits next to. Looks just about like the other lower end models it sits next to. For less than a hundred dollars, Awesome Deal!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  GREAT PRICE GREAT PRODUCT!, March 18, 2011
By Stephanie Parker Halley (Fair Oaks, CA)
I searched every website for months making sure I was getting a great deal on a needed product. I was skeptical because others wrote about other brands being the best. I am so glad I bought this bike trailer. It works perfect for my 2 girls! They really enjoy it and there is more than enough room for both of them. I am picky when it comes to safety and quality. This trailer is it for me! Very easy to install the coupler and very easy to attach the bike trailer. I bought the extra coupler. The trailer comes with one. All around I am thrilled!!

Like I said GREAT PRICE GREAT PRODUCT!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Get it!, April 28, 2011
By Papa on a bike
My grandkids love the trailer! I put my three and two year olds in it and there was plenty of room (I was concerned about this). The trailer is easy and steady to pull. You do NOT need to order the quick clip attachment unless you want it for a second bike. Once the trailer is assembled (no more than 1/2 hour) and the connector attached to your bike (maybe 15 minutes), unfolding it and hooking it to the bike is a five minute operation. It folds up quickly and stores in a small corner of the garage. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to let the little ones go along on a bike trip.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Deal, April 27, 2011
By John
We had borrowed a friends, loved it and bought one. I have a 5yo and 18month and both were content. I used it mainly attached to my bicycle with no issues except backing up (pulling into garage no biggie, but out is a little work). Everything attaches easy and fold beautifully.
I am a little pessimistic about the handle bars as they clamp on and tighten as opposed to slide in.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE "Customers Also Bought: the bike attachement". I bought one and this comes with one, waste of $10!. Only thing you need is to blow up the tires!
10minutes to assemble and 10 to break down.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Wonderful dual-use product!, April 4, 2011
By QC mom of 2
No complaints with the set-up. Quick and easy is an accurate description. Not to mention having the quick-release option on my Trek bike allowed for a quick install of the bike coupler! The description didn't include the fact that the coupler WAS included - I was grateful it was, since I went back and forth on whether I needed to order one or not. Though the description states that this particular bike trailer is big enough for 2 kids, it was a bit tight with our 2 little ones (aged 1-1/2 & 3) - though I've never seen my son sit with his hands together for such a long period of time and not bother his little sister. Not sure how they'll tolerate this on a really warm/hot day's ride or when they both get bigger. When I took them for a ride the other day, it was a matter of getting past the initial whining during the strapping in process...once we got moving they had a ball! Other than with a few gradual inclines, you hardly notice the trailer is attached to the bike! Our trailer tires had the recommended 35 PSI indicated on them.

Though we have yet to utilize the stroller attachment, this was a great incentive for getting this model - couldn't beat the price for the dual-use trailer/stroller! In fact, I chose this model because I couldn't find any price listed for a stroller kit that would be an additional cost had we gotten a cheaper model (which may not have proved true in the long run??). This definitely folds more compactly than the double stroller we already have - another incentive for getting this model - making it an option for traveling, too!

Possible suggestions for improvement(s): (1) increasing the width by a few more inches, (2) the addition of cup holders for the kids to enjoy a drink while riding - the little pockets aren't very ideal for holding cups, (3) adding a cup holder/tray attachment for the stroller handle to hold a drink/keys/etc. for the one pushing/jogging.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Using it as a jogging stroller with two kids, January 25, 2012
By Marine Wife (North Carolina)
I am currently training for a triathlon, but I have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old. My husband is also in the Marine Corps, so he is gone alot for training. Since he is gone for months at a time I chose to get this stroller so I can run and bike with the kids. While hunting around for reviews I could not find very many about how it did as a jogging stroller, so I felt it important to make review for how it is to run with it. I also included a video so you can see first hand how kids fit in it, and the features. My kids are tall for their age, and they slouched down into the seat yet said they were very comfortable. In fact they were so comfortable that after a 2+ mile run they wanted me to keep going!

[...]

So here is my full review for this stroller/trailer:

Putting it together with kids "trying" to help was very easy.
It DOES NOT fit through normal door ways so be warned about this! If you don't have the kids in it though you can turn it on it's side and it easily fits, yeah I had to do that haha
Very comfortable, pockets on the sides for the kids things also nice amount for leg room.
Someone said it tips when the kids are in it, no it does not. I even tried to tip it to see if they were right, it DOES NOT tip over!
When you get it it will need air in the tires, like someone else said in a review. They have some air, just enough. In fact we walked with it to the as station to get air, and once it had air it was an extremely smooth ride.
My kids together weigh almost 70 lbs, and I had no trouble pushing them while running.
The handle bar is adjustable, very easy to adjust or even take off for bike rides.

I highly recommend this stroller/trailer for anyone wanting to use it for walks, runs, rides, trips, etc. My kids love it so much I can't keep them out of it!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Bicycle Trailer/Stroller!!!, October 9, 2011
By & wife (North Carolina)
My kids love going on bike rides, and now they love riding along in this thing. I have 2 boys, 5 years and 2 years. They absolute love jumping into this when I get on my bike.

This is very easy to put together, instructions included and its only a couple pieces. Attaches very easily to any type of bike, and off you go. With both kids in the trailer, it is still very easy to pull. The oversized rear wheels glide very smoothly. Depending on what you want, you can close the front with mesh or a clear plastic type covering. This trailer is very well put together, and for similar models, these things run about $100 more in the stores. A great buy.

Another thing this bike trailer does is that it can be turned into a stroller. Very mobile and easy to push, this thing glides with the oversized wheels. Also, great for jogging with the big handlebar. A great 2 in 1 buy for kids, and my 5 year old will probably outgrow it in a year or 2.

I would recommend this item if you have kids and you like to bike. "It's so fun!" says my 5 year old.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Bike trailer is GREAT, and a great price!, May 10, 2011
By AmandaPanda
I have an old Instep bike trailer that lasted me a couple years, and I was in the market for a new bike trailer. After looking and looking, I settled on the same trailer, but a newer, updated model. It is AWESOME! Everything has been updated. The harnesses are WAY more comfortable, and feature a wider crotch strap, making it much easier for little passengers. In stroller mode it handles like a dream! It turns on a dime and barely feels like you are pushing anything. I can also run with it. It is probably too wide to fit through most doors, but still not as wide as I imagined it would be, so its comfortable to push and not awkward at all. I have a 4-year-old and 2-year-old, both weighing over 35 lbs, and they fit in it just fine. The 4-year-old's head does not touch the top, so she has plenty of room. They are a bit snug width-wise, but not uncomfortably so. This really is an awesome trailer for the price! Also, it comes with the coupler piece for your bike, so you do NOT have to buy one :) Highly recommend this trailer!!

I love the idea of this product. But, 1.) The bottem is too soft. 2.) The flag flew off the fisrt ride and the trailor sits so low that it's not visible to people in cars - very scary watching a car inch forward because they don't see something is attached to my bike. 3.) Very wide, almost doesn't fit on sidewalk. InStep Quick N EZ Double Bicycle Trailer

4.0 out of 5 stars.  bike trailer, June 13, 2011
By two plus one in tow
Good quality product but space is very limited. We have an almost 4 year old (she's tall for her age) and a 2 year old. They are pretty cramped in there, but my daughter's old enough to be riding her own bike. It's surprisingly easy to pull them, and set-up was really easy (my husband did it!). It would be nice to have some extra space for holding snacks/whatnot, but it suffices for our purposes. I would recommend this to others with two small children. Good solid, quality product.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great purchase, May 16, 2011
By Todd
We are very pleased with our purchase. The trailer is easy to assemble and both pushes and pulls with ease. Our children love riding in it and it allows us to do more as a family together. The only downside we have found so far is that we purchased this particular product because it had double seating, but we have found it surprisingly difficult to pull both children in hilly environments. (we are pleasure bikers and not athletes). Still we love and recommend this product...but only for one child if you don't have strong legs.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  doesn't fit our moutain bike, July 2, 2011
By momx3
agree with other reviews except the part about fitting 2 kids in there. my 2 kids (15 months old, 25% weight) seem tight in there, and since it's slouching, they are leaning against each other... and the trailer gets hot, even without the clear plastic cover. But overall i guess you can't make them too big to fit the side walk. overall 1 out of my 3 kids really love this trailer, the other 2 didn't care much.
we couldn't get it to attach to the mountain bike, so have to modify the part (sanding & cutting it to fit).

1.0 out of 5 stars.  CAN'T BUY REPLACEMENT PARTS?!?, August 11, 2011
By sharbear
I purchased an InStep bike trailer 2-3 years ago. I've moved twice since and misplaced the front wheel. I called to buy a new one, and since they have a newer model of the bike trailer out now, I can no longer buy the wheel for my bike trailer. Apparently whenever they upgrade their models, you can no longer buy replacement parts for the older ones. So NOT worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Big fun... but mostly for smaller kids., August 24, 2011
By Flavia
We got it before our kids were even 1 and 2 years old, but it was a tight fit from the beginning. There's no support under the canvas material, so the seat sags in the middle and they end up leaning on each other. The kids tolerate it because they enjoy the ride but they eventually fuss and want out. The harness may also require extra cushioning; the straps rub against the skin and cause irritation since the children can't sit up straight. Our kids are on the bigger side but they are still young, so we were a little disappointed that we can't enjoy it as much as we should. We've used it as a stroller around our neighborhood and that's a nice feature. As far as the sagging, I've recently read that InStep may be able to help us with this problem. If that works, we'll really have more fun!

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Good product gone bad, July 26, 2011
By Dave (Cincinnati, OH)
Love the trailer. The problem is that even before using it I had to replace the inner tubes in both tires because they split open, I assume because of age. With the amount of time I spent getting them fixed plus the loss of utility for not being able to use the trailer, I can't call this a bargain.

Sturdy, smooth ride, seems very well-constructed. My 1 year old girl loves it. The seating area does not look particularly comfortable from my perspective (no padding or formed seats, just the supported nylon) but it doesn't seem to faze her.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  My daughter loves it!, April 9, 2011
By fezerado
I received this last night. It assembled in about 15 minutes. No tools required. I put my 3 yr old daughter and she did not want to get out until it was bed time. She cannot wait until we take it for a ride. Plenty of room for two children plus there is a storage area right behind the seating area. For the price, this is a very solidly built trailer. I saw the exact same model at the local sports store for $80 more. I waited a week for delivery and it was worth it. My daughter and I are very please.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great trailer, August 20, 2011
By Sean Reilly (Charlottesville, VA USA)
I just got back from my first trip out with the trailer. The setup and installation was very easy on my Trek mountain bike and the trailer folds up to a surprisingly small package when not in use. The two seats, each with five point harness, snugly but comfortably fit both my 5 year old daughter and 10 month old son. They completely enjoyed the 75 minute ride over a mix of cobbled streets and smooth cycle paths. So far I would recommend this trailer to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great bike trailer!, April 21, 2011
By BBProg101
I really love this bike trailer. I have 2 children, ages 3.5 and 2. My 2 year old rides in the trailer while I'm teaching my 3.5 year old to ride his own bike. Now both kids are very happy. It may say that 2 kids can fit in this trailer, but trust me, they'd have to be 20 lbs. or less each because there is not enough room. My 2 year old rides in the middle and is very comfortable. My 3.5 year old can fit in it, but there's not enough room for his legs. It is super easy to remove from the bike when you don't want to use it and it folds up nicely. It is big though, so if you have a car and you are transporting it, it will most likely take up your entire trunk space. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Not a bad trailer, September 4, 2011
By RainMkr
I have used this trailer about 10 times now. I have a one year old and 4 year old. They love going on rides. They seem to have plenty of room. I'm going to use it next month when I go on a three day camping ride 124 miles and pack my gear in it. I'm gonna have to figure out why the tires are not holding air but nice trailer for the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  FUN&EASY, August 24, 2011
By ANN (MI.)
This is a great product,I really like how easy it is to pop the wheeles off and fold in to fit in my tiny trunk! Also its orange not yellow and i think the color looks better then the pic.Fit 2 12 month olds great!
PROS:Light to pull 1 or 2 toddlers or small children comfortable
*EASY to put togeather and take apart and fit in small trunk!wheeles pop off too
*come with flag and had small strage comoartments for smnall items or water bottle/snacks
* snreening to keep buhs out
*priced great!
CONS:*No shading ,can be anoying for small child if its a sunny day and no shade on path!
* bottom is soft with not much support, make sure your child can sit up well.
* belts are not padded at all, so if your child is younger and falls asleep may dig into neck!,i used i blanket around it.
I Gave this A 4 Star rating ,and would buy it again for the price, its lots of fun and my daughter loives it!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Lots of fun, July 17, 2011
By Hugh T. Chapman
Fairly simple to assemble initally and even easier to disassemble and then reassemble later. I've pulled two kids on several occasion without a lot of extra resistance on the ride (I just drop down a gear or two and peddle right along.) The extra wheel in front that allows you to convert the trailer into a stroller can be easily stored behind the seat. The little wheel can be taken off or put on without much trouble. Though it folds nearly flat, the framework of the folded unit takes a bit more space than I was anticipating, which makes storage in the compartmetns of my little RV a bit difficult. All in all though, we're quite pleased.

This has worked out well for my 2 young daughters. It would be nice if the side plastic windows on the side, were also vents like the back and front. Other than that, we have enjoyed it.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  the right stuff for the right price, May 31, 2011
By montana chic (middle of montana USA)
I did a long hard search, debated between several models, worried because other moms were getting this expensive REI stroller...tried to get one used, and couldn't . I finally thought what the hell, at this price lets try it out. so far, we love it. It has lots of great features, is very versatile, stores easily and the connection is super easy . My son loves it too. I even like that it is a double , although I just needed a single.
We tried out the stroller feature last night and my husband aid it was a bit close for him to walk with but it is fine really.
A good buy for the little guy;)

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Very Nice looking and nice ride, April 12, 2011
By shopgirl
Very nice looking, love the orange color, bright enough for cars to see when we are riding in the streets. Well made, smooth ride you dont even feel it. Only rode around my streets so far, havent taken it out far. Rode my 3 1/2-year old and our dog in it, they liked it. I guess it was comfortable for my son b/c he said I want to ride more after a few ride around the block and then he ended up laying down and actually burst out an "aahhhh, it feels good". lol
Only reason it's not 5 stars is the seating area is not padded, its just like a hammock supported by straps underneath. I've once tried a trailer with an actual seating area/padded seat. But like i said it was comfortable enough for my son.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Doesn't come apart to clean!!!, February 26, 2012
By Mom2Boys (Florida)
Seriously... a stroller that can't come apart to be cleaned? Wow what a disappointment! My cat pee'd in ours and I thought well that stinks, I'll just take it apart and clean it... WRONG! You can take the harness part out, not easy to do but it did come out. The rest can not come out at all. For something that gets so dirty I'm truly baffled at the thought that this thing can't be cleaned properly. Will never buy this brand again.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  New parents, October 23, 2011
By PackerGal21
We love this product! For the money, it has been great for us so far. Quality is wonderful and nice looking too. The set-up was easy and my 15 month old has loved riding along with us on our bikes now. We don't use it as a jogger as often, but works okay then as well. We hope it lasts until #2 comes along to share the bike rides!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great purchase -- highly recommended, October 22, 2011
By L Sch (FL, USA)
I use this trailer for running at least twice a week, occasionally for biking - it is really great for both. It's very easy to attach/detach, and very durable. My 2 yr old likes it a lot. I am sure you can find more expensive and higher quality trailers out there... but this one is a great value and a great purchase. The only problem I've found is that the front wheel (used for running) cannot swivel 360 degrees... but this seldom bothers me. Overall, I am extremely happy with this trailer and really enjoy working out while spending time with my son.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  My kids requested a longer ride!, October 10, 2011
By Bdcolyer
We have been waiting to get a bike trailer for a while and finally got one! We love the InStep and our kids do too. We have an almost 3 year old and a 11 month old and both ride wonderfully in the trailer. We used the plastic cover on the front for warmth from the fall air and they stayed snug and happy. My daughter (3) read books and enjoyed watching us bike, and my son (11 mo.) actually fell asleep toward the end of the ride. My daughter wanted to ride more when we were finished riding. . .that's great because we hope to do bike tours this fall as a family! Bring on the biking!
Easy to install/hook up, smooth safe ride, room for kids to wear helmets and take snacks (small cup holder pockets inside).

I am very pleased with the overall construction and function of this bicycle trailer. It is also a great bargain compaired to other makers of the same style product. The only negative I have is the flag that comes with this unit flew off the pole the fist time it was windy,so if you want to keep your flag you'll want to find a way to tie it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  GREAT bike trailer for a GREAT price!, July 6, 2011
By workinghard
The InStep Quick N EZ Double Bike Trailer was easy to assemble. It took a little too long to arrive, but the packaging was in good condition and all parts were there and in good order. It glides wonderfully! It provides such a smooth ride that I have actually started to use it for everyday walks instead of my regular stroller. Very light and easy to pull or push. My kids love getting to ride in it. It is spacious enough and comfortable for them. My older kids enjoy pulling it behind their bikes too. It is easy to hitch and unhitch on our bikes. It folds quickly and easily for transport. I would highly recommend this bike trailer / jogger to everyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Love this trailer, July 4, 2011
By Naplesgirls
I love this bike trailer. It is definitely worth the money. It is made well, and the storage area in the back is a plus when you stop a store. Both my girls fit well, my 3 1/2 yr old and my 1 yr old which together weigh 55 lbs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the seating for the children could have been a little more cushioned/comfortable. Great product we use it 2-3 times a week. they also sell an additional couplet attachment which allows us to move the bike trailer from my bike to my husbands very easily.

This is a very nice bike trailer. I especially like that it has a center seatbelt for my son. It is roomy and well made. You just can't beat the price. I feel like I got a two for one since I can jog or ride my bike. Folds up easily and was easy to put toghether. With the price of gas this is going to be nice to get around in.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  So far so good, January 27, 2012
By Alex Chavelas
First off let me begin by saying I do not have any experience with any other bike carriages.
From what I have seen most carriages are really expensive, and for the price this carriage has exceeded my expectations.
It folds up easily and can be disassembled and reassembled quickly. My only concern is that there is only a thin layer of fabric between my baby and the ground.
The carriage sits about 6 inches off the ground, but as long as the driver is aware of the clearance around the carriage everything should be fine.
I am considering adding a board to the frame just to be safe, but perhaps I am just being an over-protective parent. Other than that it is a great product. I have bought some car window shades that stick with a suction cup to give my baby some shade in there, I don't like closing it up because it can get pretty hot in there when riding in the day. Mostly use it on paved bike trails. Everything feels sturdy and secure. I will comeback and review further after more use. It has only been two months since I've had it and have only used it a hand full of times.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  lots of fun, October 4, 2011
By Someone
I would say this works well for a 3 year old or a bigger single child, as crowding two of them could be a little bit too much. But it is a well designed product that works very well. We had many enjoyable rides so far and survived them all. It takes very little time to assemble it, and it is pretty stable on the road.

My 3-yr old loves this. He can bring his stuffed animals and juice with him and sit and relax while we ride through the desert trails in Phoenix. He is very comfortable sitting in it and it feels very safe and sturdy while I am towing. This is a great purchase to get your children outdoors and also get yourself a little workout.

I'm quite impressed with this bike trailers. I bought it on the recommendation of someone who already had one in an RV park. For the money I think it's great. Folds up nice and flat for storage in the RV. Assembles pretty quickly. We use it for a dog with hip problems. They love it. The construction is quality. Love the orange color.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Best product for the Price, April 10, 2012
By C.High
My wife and I have been looking for a bicycle trailer for a while now and it seemed that we were going to have to pay more for it than we did for our bikes! This trailer is economical and very well built! It is relatively easy to fold down for storage however, it would be nice if you didn't have to unsnap the canopy and remove the wheels to do it. My kids love being able to sit side by side when riding and when being pushed around in the stroller! I would recommend this to anybody who wants a safe and secure ride for their kids!

My kids love this very lightweight, easy to put together only problem is don't put any weight on the front wheel. The bracket is made of plastic and easily breaks. They don't have replacement parts that I could find, so I use a c-clamp to hold it together till I find a replacement part

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great trailer and stoller seems good (wouldn't be my fulltime jogger), March 19, 2012
By Lace (Texas)
I already have a jogging stroller by Expedition that I got as a carrier/stroller combo. We love it and I have loved it because it has inflatable wheels and to me is all terrain. I love being outdoors and my husband and I have both mountain bikes and beach cruisers. I love the ease of this converting to a stroller for when we want to ride to a neighbors house (holds the kids and other stuff like a small cooler of drinks, toys or whatever) and we are off. I have a friend a few blocks away w a pool and we bring all our pool gear with us to. I also mention this as a great way to carry stuff from the car when we go camping. It folds up with not special tools needed (big bulkey but not anymore than our folding wagon we also purchased here on amazon). I was impressed with the seller. We didn't get it shipped through Amazon. It was here in only a few days when they quoted us 7. So it was a nice surprise to have it by the weekend. I have now taken it on several rides. My daughter, who is two and a half, loves it. She thinks it's the greatest ride. The other posters are right. When you want to convert to stroller it only takes two seconds to pop on the front wheel. The front arm is a bit long so if you are pushing through a crowd of people just be kind to others. I will say that as far as a jogger which I tried today, it works but I like my really jogging stroller more. But it's nice to not have to replace if I have another child and they are a bit older, or if one my friends kids wants to join us. All and all it's a pretty good trailer and look forward to years of use. I will update this post should anything change.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Quick and EZ is right!, March 15, 2012
By ml
What a fun bike trailer! I am so happy with this purchase. I am now able to tow my 2 boys (age 1 and 3) around town much easier than in a regular tandem stroller. Like other reviewers stated, my boys do tend to sink into eachother but they don't seem to mind at all. They are very comfortable and have plenty of room to stretch their legs. They don't appear cramped at all. I love the fact that there is space behind the trailer as a "trunk." It is large enough to fit snacks and some beach towels for the pool. I know this will be a great summer thanks to the Quick and EZ trailer.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  My boys love it, March 3, 2012
By Sound Sleeper (Utah)
We have not had this product for very long, but we have been out riding a few times. We love it and our 2 boys love riding in it. The only con about this product is the handle. The handle is not permanently attached for jogging which makes it a little flimsy. It's not that big of a deal though, since it is made to be used as a bike trailer with an added bonus of using it for walking/jogging.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love It!, February 25, 2012
By Consumer Advocate
We found our bike trailer new on Craigslist and just love it. My daughter can relax much more than her stroller and it even has two side pockets to hold her bottle (or drink)and plenty of room down by her feet area to store toys to carry along for the ride. The ride itself is very smoothe too. When attached to a bike she seems to enjoy herself.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED., April 14, 2012
By mommy rose (Pasadena, CA)
My husband put it together and noticed one of the snaps was broken. So instead of putting it back in the box and undoing everything he had done, we just kept the trailer. After our first ride we noticed that the fabric was fraying and there was a rip! Excuse me, but my little infant barely moved in the thing... so it had to have already had a rtiny rip. This is ridiculous. Not happy and was not as avertised. So upset.
