My take on size, March 27, 2011
By joseph rasmussen

|
I was hesitant to order because of the size issue. I wear a 9.5 in almost everything and had read (just like you) to go one half size up. I took the chance and went one half size up (44 for 9.5) and they fit perfect. The shoes themselves appear to be of good quality, but I have only had them for a couple of weeks now. That's my experience, hope it helps.

Quality Shoe., September 7, 2011

Comes with cleats, got me through my first century ride. My only concern is that the shoe is tight fitting. I ordered true to my size and its a tight fit. I suggest ordering one size larger.

Cycling - Pearl iZUMi cycling shoes, August 19, 2011

These shoes are great. Really like how they fit and perform. They do run small like all the other reviews say about Pearl iZUMi cycling shoes. My suggestion is to go to a couple of cycling stores and try a bunch of different shoes to figure out your size you're. Then order them off of Amazon. I got a great deal on these shoes. At the Pearl iZUMi outlet store I went to look at these shoes. They ran around 160.00 and I got them for 90.00. Amazon did a great job on this order!

too tight, February 8, 2012
By Ernie (Louisiana)

I had to take the insole out in order to feel a confortable ride. Once I did that...no problem. However, would have liked to use it with the insole. Maybe this runs a bit smaller than a compatible size 7 U.S.

Pearl Izumi Road Cycling shoe, January 26, 2012
By Everything's better in Latex!! (TN)

This is my second pair of road cycling "clip in" shoes, they seem to be pretty well constructed, they are light but provide a good fit and solid feel locked into my pedals. Their sizing seems to be spot on to me, I ordered my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly. I took a quick ride to break them in and ended up riding 25 miles and had no real issues with wear on my feet or blisters, so overall, I am happy with the purchase.
I am a bit skeptical about the plastic click locking strap on top of the shoe, but I have no reason to believe that it will underperform, all of my other Pearl Izumi products have served me very well. I'd recommend these shoes to friends.

NIce shoes, run large, May 5, 2012
By CycleGuy
|
|
I took everyone else's advice and ordered a size larger than normal and they are BIG. I wear a size 12 (46) and ordered the 13 (48), well there is at least half an inch between the back of the shoe and my Achilles tendon. I will keep them because my feet tend to swell when I'm riding, but I will definitely have to keep an eye out for blisters. The velcro on the front is nice and wide and the clip ratchets to tighten the rear strap down. When cinched down they are snug.

Great ones!, March 29, 2012

My first pair of cycling shoes; I needed them for my spinning classes. They are very efficient and comfortable. I suggest getting 0.5 or 1 size bigger than your normal size. Suitable for the type of bike we have at the class. Got them with the cleats also from Amazon, both fit together and boosted the performance.
