Extreme Fluoro Grease is made with 100% pure DuPont fluorinated ingredients. Recommended for precision parts and especially bearings (including ceramic). Perfect for those seeking a significant drop in friction and maximum protection against extreme pressures and/or extreme rotational heat. Also works great on cable wires, derailleur pivots, stanchions, gaskets, pedal springs and as a 'clean' alternative to conventional anti-seize compounds. Extreme Fluoro often provides 'lubricated for life' protection!

Best Hi-Load Grease there is, August 12, 2011
By Long-rider (Sacramento, Ca. United States)

I first became aware of DuPont's pure PTFE grease in looking into greases for titanium screws, or other screws that have a tendency to spall. I have been using this stuff sparingly to grease bicycle wheel bearings now for about a year, and find they roll noticeably smoother.
With high bearing loads, this grease eliminates molecular sheering that occurs with other greases, and being a bit thicker, keeps the balls separated from each other better.
I recently repacked a set of Shimano Ultegra 6700 hubs with this and could feel the difference in the way the wheel rolled - less vibration. Since even the best Shimano and Campy hubs come with grade 25 bearings, (marked G25), I'm going to up the ante now and install 100 3/16 inch Diameter Chrome Steel Bearing Balls G10 available here at Amazon. The rear drive-side bearings I'm replacing with G5 ceramic. All will be repacked with this grease.
I grease the balls and cones with this, and then use Mobile 1 pure synthetic grease to backfill the bearing assembly to keep water and grime out. Maybe someday this stuff will be cheap enough to use exclusively, but for now, the bearing surfaces get the good stuff.

I used this grease on two bikes now and am very satisfied in how easily it is applied to my brake and especially gear cables to enable smooth gear and brake action. This product works really well and I highly recommend it.

I use this tool mostly for hubs and the rear derailleur pulleys on my bike. It works really good for quieting the pedaling noises from the rear derailleur.

Great Grease, February 14, 2012

I use this on my pocket knives. This stuff is slick and does not collect dirt like others I have tried. I bought this for my Chris Reeves Umnumzaan and it opens smoother than when I first bought the knife. I guess its in the telfon. This syringe will last a long time. Can't beat the price.

FINISH LINE EXTREME FLUORO, December 27, 2011

IN THE PROCESS OF FULLY EVALUATING THIS REPLACEMENT FOR THE ORIGINAL DUPONT TEFLON BEARING GREASE THAT WHAT WAS DISCONTINUED. AS AN ANTISIEZE LUBE IT IS WORKING GREAT ON ALL TYPES OF MATERIALS (STAINLESS STEEL, ALUMINUM, TITANIUM AND CAST). AS A BEARING GREASE, TIME WILL TELL. I PRIMARILY USE IT ON MTN BIKE BUILD AND REBUILDS. BEARINGS (WHEEL,BOTTOM BRACKET, STEERING HEAD),CHAINS AND ANY PART WITH FRICTION.IT WORKS AS SMOOTH AND WHEELS ARE FAST, HOWEVER IT IS NOT AS QUIET FOR WHEEL BEARINGS. ON MY CARBON FIBER BIKES THE NOISE TRANSMITS THRU THE FRAME A LITTLE. THE ORIGINAL DUPONT PRODUCT KEPT THE WHEEL BEARINGS CLEAN FROM DIRT AND WATER FOR 8 YRS OF ROUGH NE MTN RIDING. WILL SEE HOW IT HOLDS UP IN MY NEW LOCTION IN FL AGAINST SAND AND WATER. OVERALL I LOVE THE PRODUCT. I USE IT ON EVERYTHING I OWN WITH MOVING PARTS (CAR BOLTS, SHIFT LINKAGE, RC CARS, DOOR HINGES IN THE HOUSE). AS WITH ALL MY AMAZON PRIME ORDERS IT WAS SHIPPED AND RECEIVED PROMPTLY WITHOUT A HITCH.

the only product in existence for S&S couplers, November 24, 2011
By A. D. hodgson

Bought my girlfriend a disabled hand cycle with an S&S Coupler so it can split apart and go into the trunk, and the coupler was a nightmare until we put this grease on it. Supposedly it was factory treated and should have been okay for 6 months...now I doubt that. This stuff will work and is easy to distribute from the syringe, though you'll need to find a safe place to store it so the little tube does not get broken. Trouble is we have had to apply a hefty dose every time we take the cycle apart, so don't expect it to last a lifetime. But it is excellent for lubricating what must never get even a bit wet. The coupler certainly will not twist or tighten without it, so if you have an S&S coupler you spend hours wrestling and cursing with...I hope this helps.

Super slicky, November 1, 2010
By iDiotgear (orange county, ca United States)

I purchased this to lubricate the spline of my driveshaft so it would reduce the clunking. So far it seems good. The needle dispenser makes it easier to get deeper in the shaft. The price is half the price for the Ford equivalent which is a smaller package.

Not so good on aluminium, April 8, 2012
By Dusterdude

I bought the Extreme Fluoro for use on bare aluminium flashlight threads, (high-end flashlights). After cleaning all of the "old" lube from the threads I used the Extreme Fluoro to lube the aluminium threads. Now when I screw and un-screw the flashlights' threads it seems like sand is in the grease! It feels gritty and crunchy, just horrible overall. The product is said to be repackaged Dupont "Krytox" grease. In all fairness, Finish Line sells this product for use in ball bearings. Super Lube made by Synco is awsome on bare aluminium threads with a silky smooth feel.
