Great option to a bulky sweatshirt, September 20, 2010
By Natalie050 (Utah)

I bought these last week and wore them for the first time on a ride on Saturday morning. It was about 60 degrees out and these were perfect. As the temperature rose and I got warmer I was able to pull them down to my wrist and then eventually take them off and they fit in one of the pockets in my jersey very easily.
I am a woman and have 6.5 in wrists and 10.5 in biceps and I am 5'4". I ordered small warmers and they fit perfectly. They are very attractive and will be a regular part of my early morning rides.

Great product, August 10, 2010

Product great for cool weather rides. The thermal option (warmers one up from these) would be for cold weather/ winter rides. I debated between the two, but these are perfect for Spring and Fall. Very happy with these warmers.

Love these!!, December 23, 2010

I bought these for running and can't wait to use them. I bought a pair for my sister for Christmas and one for myself. They fit great.(I bought mediums...am 5'6" 130 lbs....OK, 135 but with all the running I will do with these I will soon be 130!) I like the little bit of design without being too overwhelming.

Great, until they fall apart., April 13, 2011

I got these as a gift for Valentine's day and began wearing them as a baselayer through the winter. About a few weeks ago one of them began to totally unravel. Bummed.

Runs Large, August 29, 2010
By Veronica

I bought these in a small expecting to give them as a gift and ended up keeping them for myself because they fit so well. The fabric is really nice. It is like having a pair of arm warmers made from my favorite trouser socks. I would have guessed that I needed a large since I buy most everything that I wear in a large size, but these fit perfectly and keep my arms warm at work.

unimpressed, May 23, 2011

I'm pretty unimpressed with these. They feel fine and stay up okay, but the seam at the top of one started to fall apart after its first trip through the washer (gentlest setting, hung to dry, like the rest of my bike gear), and a month later the other one started to go as well. Now that the one seam is completely gone, it sags and rolls down a bit; I bet the other will be doing that too soon. I'll be looking for higher quality arm warmers.

Good for tranistional weather, October 20, 2010

I used these biking and running and they are a nice extra layer when I am not ready to comment to a long sleeve. The sizing seems reasonable.

Great on Cool Mornings, February 19, 2012
By Steve Vrana (Aurora, NE)

I bicycle year 'round, but even in the summer it can be darn chilly in the morning. There can be a temperature change of twenty degrees or more between my 5:30 a.m. start and my 10:30 return. I'm fine just wearing a short sleeve jersey when the temperature is in the mid-fifties or warmer. However, colder than that and I want some added warmth, and these sleeves do the trick. They fit snug and add just enough warmth to ward off the morning chill. After it warms up, they slip off easily and fit neatly into a jersey pocket. Way more convenient than dealing with a jacket or a long sleeve jersey. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Interesting, if nothing else, January 7, 2012

They're warm. They also slip off the arm, they're itchy, and the threads are just wrecked. I haven't even hardly wore them, either. They do look freaking awesome, and that's totally worth the price of admission when it's cold outside.

Arm Warmers, November 20, 2011
By Jim L.

Provides good warmth well below 60 degrees and breaths well so if it gets warmer during the ride I do not overheat. Overall a very good product.

Better than I expected, November 4, 2011
By Jennifer L. Rinehart (United States of America)

These are the first arm sleeves I've ever had, so I can't really comment on their quality in relation to other brands.
What I wanted from armsleeves was the following;
1. Sun protection. I wear these while riding and was hoping they'd work in place of the sunscreen I usually slather myself with before leaving the house. As it turns out, the initial cost of these armsleeves paid for themselves within a month since I didn't have to fork over the $14.99 I usually pay for unscented, sunscreen. Sweet.
2. Stay on the arms - I was a bit worried these wouldn't stay up, that they'd puddle around my wrists the same way my thigh high stockings do, but they stayed on with minimal adjustments.
3. Itchyness - I have a super low tolerance for scratchy fabrics. With my dry skin and psoriasis, scratchy-itchy outbreaks seem to happen often, but these arm warmers weren't too bad, even on a hot day when I got sweaty, I didn't feel itchy until after I removed them.
4. Machine washable - I planned to put these arm warmers into my mesh delicates bag for washing but I forgot. They ended up in a load of towels and other whites and were washed with BLEACH! Oops. But they were totally fine! Possibly because I use a minimal amount of bleach and always wash with cold water, whatever, these are some durable arm sleeves.
Now for the downsides;
1. The spandex band on the top of the armsleeve kinda digs into the delicate skin on the upper, inner part of my arm after exercising and working up a sweat. After an hour of wearing these, I could feel it, like a nagging itch I couldn't quite reach. After two hours, I was really looking forward to removing the arm sleeves. After three hours, I ripped them off and stuffed them into my bag with a relieved smile.
2. They are sorta ugly. I got the black with a muted dark grey design and they have a kinda compression sock look about them. But function over fashion, right? No nasty sunspots or melanomas on the arms beats a tan any day!

Perfect solution, October 30, 2011
By Milkweed

I purchased these after reading a bunch of reviews. These ended up being perfect for my needs. I have worn them on several rides with temperatures ranging from 40-60 degrees. The arm warmers have kept me toasty without being hot, and the fit is just right for me. I am 5'11" and weigh about 155 lbs. with thin arms. I purchased a small.

Best purchase ever, May 6, 2011

I wear these constantly in Spring Washington Weather. They are so easy to put on and take off. They cut the chill on the cool mornings or afternoon rides. I get excited every time I want to go for a ride and its a little chilly out. I can just put arm warmers on and out the door i go without carrying a few layers. They are great and highly recommended.

Love!, December 21, 2010

My sister and I are runners, or are trying to be:) and wanted something warm for our arms while wearing a tank top. These are great because they keep you warm but are also removable if you get to hot. & are so small you can stash them in your pocket or fanny bag. The material is nice and the design is cute. Great product.

Good armwarmers, highly recommend!, May 5, 2011
By Geocentricity

This isn't intended for winter rides, but for early spring and onwards this does the job. The material is thin and will easily fit in your pocket/bike bag.
Only a minor issue in terms of fit: The upper part slips down a bit if you do not pull them high and snug or have insufficient bicep size.

Great for long runs and morning bike rides, November 14, 2011
By L. Daniel Orozco

Bought this product as an alternative to long sleeve tech shirt for my long runs or early morning bike rides. It runs a bit tight. I bought Large size and am not particularly muscular, but they do stretch. they fold nicely and are light enough to keep in shirt's back pocket.

Spend the Exrta Money and get the Thermal Arm Warmer, October 27, 2011
By Jeffey Bloom (USA)

The first time I put them in the wash the stitching started to unravel and by the second time they were completely falling apart. They do a good job of keeping your arms warm on the bike but won't last long. Spend a little more and get the Thermal arm warmers.

I use them in combination with short sleeves Pearl Izumi jerseys and they do their job very well. Keeps me warm even at 12C. Lower than that I start wearing a wind barrier jacket.

I live in an area where the nights can get cool but if you wear long sleeves when running, you'll burn up. These sleeves have been awesome so far! Nice and snug, and work great in the cold and wind, allowing ventilation for the armpit. They were delivered in great condition and in good time.

I bought these sleeves to wear while I'm out working midnights and it starts out a warm night, but cools down later. Not having to wear a full long sleeve shirt all night and being able to slip these on is so convenient!

These sleeves keep you warm and are not bulky at all. Much better than a jacket which is much heavier to carry around with you.

These are great. Having it to do over, I might have ordered one size larger, as they are very tight and in no danger of slipping down.
