some pretty ok gloves, September 3, 2010

The first thing I did when I got these gloves was make fun of the little catches on the ring fingers that make it easier to pull the gloves off. Turns out Pearl iZUMi wins, they're actually quite convenient. What is not convenient about these gloves is the velco. It super sucks. Wouldn't stay closed for love or money. Other than that though...not bad. Nice color, well placed padding, and the pull things on the ring fingers. Shame about the velcro.

Fits like a glove!, April 1, 2011
By Angie

I bought these gloves for the color and the price. For the price I did not expect these gloves to perform as well as the high end models but the product managed to surpass all my expectations.
Let me specifically talk about all aspects of this glove.
Size:
For someone who has tiny child like hands these gloves are true to their size. They have small finger holes and the velcro for the wrist lets me tighten them further. For petite women , I would say this glove is a god sent! I do not wear any jewelery while riding so I have little issue with the glove trying to fit over my ring finger.
Material:
The material is not cheap, looks very durable and protects me from the elements. The padding underneath also absorbs most of the vibrations and sweat. However these gloves do not dry after the ride. They retain sweat unless you wash them or dry them out and are quite uncomfortable to wear again on the next ride.

Great gloves so far - and cute too, May 25, 2011
By It's a dry heat! (Chandler, AZ USA)

I've been wearing these gloves on my daily rides for about 3 weeks now and just yesterday they saved me from having ripped up hands in a high speed wipeout in loose gravel. The ring catch for removal makes them easy to get off. The embroidered design on the back makes they look very attractive. I believe these are sized on the small side, so it might be safe to order a size up from where the measurement of your palm puts you at. I was safely in the low end of a medium and I probably could have done with a large - they JUST fit. The velcro stays closed for me the entire ride (about 1 hour) and the gloves dry overnight and are good to go for the next ride. The padding is sufficient and my palms are no longer sore after a ride. I'm happy with these gloves. :)

should be considered a child size, September 17, 2011

I was so looking forward to these gloves coming in the mail, but when they got here I couldn't even get them onto my hand. My hands wear a size 7 so do my feet, and these gloves are more like a child's size 7. I mean, I have never seen such a small size! I am not a large person and my hands are not big at all, but I certainly could not get them into these gloves. You better order 1 or 2 sizes up if possible.

awesome biking gloves, January 4, 2012

I got these for spinning classes that I recently starting taking at my gym and I wondered if I would like them, or if they would be too hot to wear while I was working out. I LOVE them! No more trying to lay my towel strategically so I don't slip while spinning and sweating! I highly recommend them. Great Amazon price too!

Excellent pair of gloves, May 16, 2012

Nothing to say really. These gloves do the trick! I ordered them in white to match my helmet and the bike. And very happy with the purchase. The padding is really great and I really feel the difference when I ride with them as oppose to without. I also must say the little wiping area on the thumb is extremely convenient, especially when I'm on a roll and don't wont to bother to stop and get the Kleenex. And most importantly these gloves are supper cute! 100% recommend these for recreational rider like myself.

Numb--B-Gone, September 4, 2011
By MadMaddie

I got these gloves as a gift. I never thought I would need gloves for biking, but, I did notice after about 20 miles on my mountain bike, my finger would get numb. Not fun. I know you should adjust your grip, but, I don't have much choice.
I was surprised how much a difference these gloves make! I also like the little flower design, not because I am super girly but because it is something interesting to focus on when I hit tough patches during my ride.
I have used these gloves through hail, downpours and heat. The only "issue" I have it sometimes the velco comes off (others have noted). This is not a big deal, I fix it and move on.
I am not a large or small lady (5'6/145). I got a medium and while they seemed small when I looked at them, they fit, well, like a glove.
The little quick pull off tabs (located on the ring finger) does make for easily removal but I don't have issues pulling off these gloves.

Seems to do the job, August 6, 2011

This is my first pair of biking gloves so I don't have much of a basis for comparison. I got them because I was having numbness in my pinky fingers after forty or fifty minutes of urban biking, and I read on the internet that gel-cushioned gloves would help with that.
They have helped, though I still get numbness-- just not as much. I almost wish there was MORE padding, but I'm not sure if that would interfere with the ability to safely grip the handlebars.
The other nice feature of these is that they have a good gripping texture.
Also - I find that even after the sweatiest of rides they dry pretty quickly if I turn them inside out when I take them off.

It's a bike glove!, July 30, 2011

I tried these on in a bike shop, made sure I knew what size fit my hands and then ordered them here on Amazon.
They came in much cheaper when I bought 2 pairs and got the free shipping.
I ride almost every day and rotate these 2 pairs along with my existing 3rd pair of gloves.
I find them comfortable and sufficiently padded.

got these for my wife. she loved them. the stitching is nice on the back and the gloves fit her well. she has already used them a few times and loves the loops that assist in pulling gloves off. overall a very nice product and very cute on her hands. So far it has helped her hands not take the beating from mountain biking.

This glove has been perfect for my needs. They keep my hands callous free, and slip resistant while adding a little warmth. They are a well made glove. I have had no problems with the Velcro as stated by a couple of reviewers. I ordered through Amazon and my delivery was prompt as usual!

Nice gloves, poor velcro, August 26, 2011

Bought these because they looked kind of "girly" and because the price was right. I should have spent a couple extra bucks and gotten gloves that have velcro that really sticks. Disappointing.

Comfortable, August 3, 2011
By Kathy J. McCarthy

The gloves are comfortable. The little flap on the finger does seem to make them easier to get off, which is a good thing, because they seem to run small. Luckily I ordered a Women's Large, even though I believe my hands are average for a woman. I should have ordered an Extra Large, though, and they might have been a little better fit.

I love these gloves they are comfortable, fit well, and I like the flowers on the back. They have a perfect amount of padding-not too much it effects grip and not too little where you feel like they are not doing anything.

I dig these. They fit well, and I do like the little pull-off loop on the ring finger, makes it much easier to get them off. Padding protects my hands in all the right places.

What I have encountered with this glove, May 24, 2012
By Janene Marrs
|
|
This glove purchase has not met my needs. I measured my hand as specified, but the gloves still run small. It is holding up well, but I must say that it doesn't provide enough padding to make it worthwhile to wear at all. I do like the design on it though- I'm not one that goes for the "girlie" touch on practical items, but I did indeed like it on this product, but not enough to wear the glove without adequate padding!

Good, May 21, 2012
By Neatfreak (VA, USA)

These are well built, quality materials. -They have padded components to protect the hand nerves from pressure. -They allow the skin to perspire, and absorb sweat -They enable a good grip on the bar; I imagine they'd protect hands in the event of a fall (falling etc -no experience thankfully!) -They have towel-like fabric on the side of the thumb for wiping sweat, nose etc. -Nice pattern and look.
My only complaint is the pressure I felt around the base of my thumbs after mile 20 of a recent ride. It got a little tight-wish the thumb holes had more give.

Comfortable & Pretty, May 10, 2012
By Tillie Lamb (Peru, IN)

I have the pink pair. They are padded in the key parts of the palm and have a really nice fit. As far as sizing goes, I feel they are true to size and my small pair is just right. The easy off pull tab on the finger really helps to get them off without fuss.
Over all, I am pleased with the materials, size, shape, and features. The only reason I give these a 4 not 5 star rating is there were untrimmed threads at each finger. They were not long, but gave the gloves a frayed appearance until they were trimmed.

The only problem I've run into with these gloves is that the velcro doesn't always stay shut on a ride. The padding is placed well and they're cute!

Shockingly helpful and comfortable for such 'minimal' gloves, April 23, 2012
By Rachel Mays
|
|
When I first got these gloves I was super excited until I looked at them. They were cute, sure, but I thought the minimal amount of padding wouldn't be very helpful. Thankfully, I was wrong. While the gloves are not that thick, they seem to have enough 'cushion' in just the right places where pressure on my hands used to kill me. Are there better gloves out there? Probably. But for the price, I am pleasantly pleased. As I ride a road bike, my hands tend to suffer as much or more than my legs. These gloves have helped take some of that hand pain away.

I was concerned about sizing since many people said they ran small so I ordered large instead of medium which I use for my workout gloves. The large fits perfectly and they are very comfortable and stylish.

Good fit. Plenty of padding. Easy on and off. Sweat band in right place. Only thing that I really don't like is design on back of gloves. Great glove for the price.
