4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great and good looking helmet, April 26, 2010
By jeff_47 (Los Angeles)
Good quality build and nice look and feel to the "rubberized" shell. One note- runs a little on the small side. I bought a large (i am within the size range) but an extra-large would have given me a little more room.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great helmet - size runs a bit small, February 2, 2011
By Lowell J. Walters
The helmet is very good. The anti-sweat terry cloth interior and other comfort features work fantastically.

I do not know if it is because of the terry cloth and other comfort features or not, but it fits more snug than I prefer. I tried on a large at Sports Authority, but they only had shiny black. It is the matte colors that have the extra features, and while the shiny black large fit very comfortably, the matte one fits less comfortably.

If they carried it in an XL, I probably would have tried that, but I still prefer it as is to the ones without those features. It is not so tight that it causes headaches. There's just a noticeable red mark on my forehead from the padding.

Also, the blue color is a really nice-looking blue. Lighter than royal blue, darker than sky blue.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great helmet, January 15, 2011

I bought this for my 3 year old son. Works fantastic. Tons of padding. Very high quality. You will not get more from a helmet costing 3 times this price.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Blue Color is far off from depicted, December 9, 2011
By Mateo I Zlatar
I haven't even tried this helmet, but I think some may find useful to know that the Blue color is actually like a clear day sky blue (and not the dark blue that you see on the picture)

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great helmet - needs better looking strap, November 19, 2011
By El Oscuro (Annandale, VA United States)
I got this helmet because it has cool looking flat black color - It practically screams for some rat-bones or dog-town stickers. It fits perfectly and looks cool - except for the strap. What is up with the day-glow yellow color? Couldn't be more out of place with the rest of the helmet. Why not use one of the black straps they have for the other helmets?

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great helmet, October 23, 2011
By Bell328 (Boulder, CO USA)
We were looking for a "cool" looking helmet for skateboarding and this is it. My son wears it for skating and biking and that's the important bit-he wears it! It doesn't do much good sitting in the garage. Worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Almost perfect, August 28, 2011
By C. Evert (Buffalo, NY)
Great design.
I had a ProTec Mirra before this, and it fit well - but the fit pads were cheap on the ProTec, the cloth that was glued to the foam eventually peeled off, from sweat (and who doesn't sweat when you are skateboarding?). With this helmet, the Sweatsaver liner is pretty clever - it fully wraps the padding inside with a sort of terrycloth material - this liner won't be falling apart. And it's comfortable.

The only reason I dinged it a star was because of build quality. One of the straps on my helmet wasn't riveted on-center, so that strap is slightly towards my ear, which can make for an annoying and unexpected tickle. Likely I'll drill out the rivet and re-rivet it, or fold the strap in half and put a couple stitches in it, but if the strap was perfect to start with, it wouldn't be an issue.
Otherwise, the materials look of high quality, I like the rubberized finish, and the colors that are available are very cool - definitely not a nerdy helmet.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  PROTECTION, June 23, 2011

My daughter was hit by a semi and almost died from her brain injuries so as you can guess I am very protective of her head. Well so is this helmet! Very good product!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Low profile, April 1, 2012

This is a perfect helmet for me and my son...runs a little small, I used the size guide online and it said I was a medium but large would be much better.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Helmet, February 22, 2012

My son loves this helmet it's light weight and fits nicely. The rubber texture is easy to clean and the sweat savers help out a lot with his sweaty head.

Comfortable, stylish, sleek, and most of all great protection! It's like this helmet was made for my head. It fit right out of the box. I highly recommend this snazzy dome saver.
