| | It's a good case that held up fine when when I shipped my bike to my first Ironman a few months ago. I have a road bike on the larger end of frame sizes(62cm) and it was able to fit in the case. It was a little tight getting everything in the case, but all the parts fit in with out much effort. I was even able to put my helmet and a few small things in the case with the bike. The case is a hard plastic case, and came with three pieces of foam. The locks on both sides of the case worked fine, and held the two sides of the case together with out a problem. There were go gaps in the sides of the case after you secure the locks on both sides of the case. The wheels on the case were small, but worked fine wheeling the case around. I had no problems with my bike after shipping it both ways from the event.
Note to anyone shipping a bike. Be ready to pay for the over size/weight prices if shipping it with most airlines.

| | I hesitated for a while between the Serfas and Thule Bike case. I went with the Serfas after reading other sites reviews and, believe it or not, based on zooming the product picture. The case is built with strong plastic composite. Both side fit clamp nicely to each other. My favorite feature is the 2 locks on each side (that's the main difference I saw with the Thule). The case fits my XL Kuota K-Factor perfectly and I can't wait to ship it UPS or Fedex to wherever I do an ironman. The rates are much cheaper that trying to accomodate flying with it (airlines will charge oversize + overweight and might not even accept the box based on the linear dimension being over 84".
