I bought the gray version of this not long ago. The brackets were easy enough to get on, though there weren't any instructions included. Popped my lunch in and rode to work. The minute I went off the road on a drive way at maybe 10 MPH the basket popped off completely. Again, today at an even slower pace, it did it again. The brackets just aren't enough to hold the basket securely due to the way they connect to the basket. I wouldn't recommend this.

I love this basket as I can take it off and carry it with me when I leave my bike parked. I've gone through many bumps on the road and even a slight fall on my bike (ouch! I fell with my bike) also carrying a medium weight backpack in my basket and this basket still stayed on!! What a great purchase!! I recommend this basket 100%.

Good quality. Has held up on my Electra perfectly. I have yet to remove the basket to carry with me but it's easy enough. I bought the white one. I like the size of the mesh. Have received many compliments!
