Nice bike. Good looks. The first one came with a sprocket problem. They immediately picked this one up and delivered a new one. No problems with this one so far.

 Not what I was hoping for..., June 5, 2010

I was thinking this bike was going to be better than it is. I wish I would have just bought a bike at a local Target or Walmart, so I could have returned it without the hassle. Right out of the box the bike had scrathces from the poor packaging. The gear shifters are almost impossible for my daughter to use because they are so hard to turn and the brakes are a joke. My daughter went thru the first pair of pads on the bike in a week because they were made of such soft rubber. The wheels came so out of round that I had to have a bike shop true them. For the most part I am a happy Amazon shopper, take my word for it and buy something different then this bike.

I bought it for my wife. It is not made for carrying weight more than 60-70 KG. While riding its tire came out and stuck in breaks. One day it was parked outside in a sunny day. Its tires got busted.

When I received the box the pedals were missing, I contacted the seller and they responded within an hour and sent the missing parts next day!!
I'm very happy with the purchase because of a great bike and an excellent buying experience

 The bike does not look like the picture, February 26, 2012

I received this bike very fast so I can't complain about that (it was supposed to take 1 week and I got the bike in 2 days). However, once I opened the box I found out 2 big problems:
1) The frame came with some scratches. My guess is that because the bike was somehow pre-assembled, it got scratched during the process. It could be the packing as well, but the only part that was not tied to the frame was the seat so I'm not sure if that could've caused the scratches.
2) The picture shows that the frame is purple and white, but the actual frame is purple and yellowish-white. This was disappointing because, believe it or not, the bike looks really different.
Buyers, be aware of this. You may like the bike even if the color is different but for me, it was not what I expected. I decided to return it and I'm waiting for my refund.

Just what we hoped it would be. I had to align the front wheel (tightening and loosening spokes); it took a couple minutes. Granddaughter is enjoying it without any issues.
