Nice Design, Poor Construction, June 13, 2009
By Arch Stanton (Bondurant, WY USA)

I bought these because I despise padded gloves and the fit and style were exactly what I wanted. However, they barely had 100 miles of use before the seam on the right palm split in TWO PLACES.
Better QC was needed, nice looking glove that should be called the ZERO Durability!

Giro zero gloves, August 2, 2010
By George

Gloves look fantastic, but a strip of dyed leather on the palm stained my hands, bartape, jersey pockets, and anything else I touched black! I rode probably five or so two- three hour rides before the aforementioned palm strip fell apart completely, leaving a nice four inch gaping hole in one of the gloves...I have since returned them and went with a tried and true clothing manufacturer, not a helmet one!

Perfect, August 5, 2009
By John Kendall (Canton (nw of Atlanta)

I did have to reinforce a couple of the seems at the finger tips but only took like 15 minutes. I've used them about 20 hours on road and mountain rides (intense and easy). So far, I really like the fit and feel. The nose wipe material is very soft and stays that way through the ride too.

Big disappointment, July 28, 2010
By bunnyboo (Austin, TX)

I bought a pair in black- loved the fit, finger pulls, just right padding, no velcro- it seemed like the perfect glove to me. Turned my palms black. Bought a white pair thinking that would solve the problem. Turned my palms black. Tried soaking them in water in an attempt to "bleed" the color out after about 400 miles, and they fell apart. I agree with the previous reviewer who said they needed better qc. They also need to ditch the dye.

They need a dye that doesn't run, August 23, 2010
By bunnyboo (Austin, TX)

I had a black pair if these that I loved- fit, thickness were peferct. No velcro at the wrist, pull tabs on the fingers- but the dye turned my hands black after every ride. Thought getting a white pair would solve the problem. No. The palm is mostly silver, but there is a black strip between the base of the thumb and the ulnar pad that is black which turns my hands black after every ride. I tried soaking them in cold water and they completely fell apart- completely. For similar fit and performance without changing your skin color, try the Specialized BG Pro gloves.

Giro Zero Cycling Glove, November 12, 2010

So far ok. Definitely better than riding without gloves. Could however have more cushion around the palm area. But for the price, very sleek looking and provides good protection from the elements and the handle bars for those long rides.

About as good as nothing, June 16, 2011
By R. DAILEY (GA)

I bought these gloves as my first pair or road gloves based on a review by another website, that was my first mistake. If you're buying these gloves as a fashion statement you might be getting the right ones (or you might be brain damaged). If you're buying them for road biking they offer a little protection. But there is no padding, hence the "zero". My hands usually get sore before about 5 miles with them and I'm ready to go home. Now i have the Pearl Izumi Elite Gelvent Gloves, which I love, and never have the sore hands. I will keep trying these every once in a while to see if maybe my hands toughen up or something, but I don't expect much.

Minimal, not that durable, October 16, 2009
By MTH

Good, minimalistic glove. Gives you enough grip without bulky padding. I was a bit disappointed that one began ripping about after about 300 miles. I'm not a rough rider nor am I that hard in the hands when I ride. But I'd buy another pair even still.

Great glove, June 2, 2009
By Ryan Maclean (Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan)

I couldn't be more pleased. Don't worry about the picture, there is no pink tint to them, they're perfectly white. I thought I should buy the mediums and went with the larges, and they were a perfect fit. The gloves are very soft, like worn in gloves. They seem durable enough and are very comfortable.
