Product Description:
Sweat catcher
Indoor bike training is a great form of exercise, but there's no cool wind to keep you from overheating during your workout. As a result, the sweat starts to build. Enter the Safe-T-Net sweat catcher, which stretches over your bike to keep salty sweat from dripping onto the frame and head parts. Made of 100-percent cotton, the Safe-T-Net efficiently absorbs moisture while you ride. It's also easy to install: just hook the rubber loop to the seat post, stretch the net, and wind the Velcro tape to the handlebar. Flexible enough to fit most frame sizes, the net even includes a center cutout to keep your bike computer visible. The washable Safe-T-Net is ideal for cyclists who want to protect their bike from rust and other threats to their frame.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works Great!, November 15, 2011
By Tyler Pittman (Athens, GA)
My wife calls this my bicycle diaper but it indeed works. It looks funny but it does what it's supposed to do and that's keep the top tube and headset dry. I sweat a lot especially when training indoors and so this was a must for me!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great product, April 1, 2007

Minoura Safety Net - Sweat Net.
What this does for me, is it keeps my CAT from getting on my Spinning bike platform and chewing up my handlebars and my seat! Oh, and it will also keep your sweat off the bike and the floor. And it's cheap. Get one today!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  It does the job, January 6, 2008

This product does help you with your inside work out. The only could-be-better things are that the Velcro in the front has to be really tightened, meaning having to secure it in further than originally designed location, in order to cover the entire headset (it could totally depend on the length of your top tube and stem as well though), and the towel material somehow seems to repel the sweats on the surface (maybe not after several washes...). But, other than that, it's a great item to have when you are on a roller or trainer; you can really go all out without worrying about rusting your components!

If you are thinking about getting an indoor trainer then buy this also, your bike will thank you for it. Makes a great sweat collector and keeps the bike clean.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  velcro straps attached upside down, February 7, 2012
By wosldjw202
There's not much to get wrong here, from an engineering point of view. This is a piece of fabric that attaches to a bike's seatpost on one end (via an elastic loop) and to a bike's handlebars on the other end (via two velcro straps). Yet they have somehow managed to get it wrong. They've attached the straps with the velcro on the wrong side. This means that you cannot properly secure the the straps to the handlebars without twisting them. I'm going to go right ahead and call it shocking...
