The description isn't very clear -- but this is a 12 Pack of Presta to Schrader Valve Adapters.

Life made easier, March 20, 2010

Excellent product & great price. This allowed me to use my compressor to put 120 psi into my road tires. Before having this adapter, it was a pain to use a special bike pump.

Not properly threaded, June 16, 2011
By Peter_v (Arizona)
|
|
I bought this to use as an adapter for screw on valve stem lights.
Unfortunately the outside threads on this are NOT the same as the threads on a standard schrader valve, they are the right diameters but the wrong pitch.

a MUST for Presta type tubes, November 30, 2010
By Big-D (Lake Havasu City, AZ United States)

|
After switching to Presta type inner tube valve stems, I needed to purchase adapters in order to properly inflate my tires. Rather than just buy one or two adapters, I bought an entire card full for under $10. Now I have plenty in reserve, I can carry one on my bike, keep a couple near my air compressor and give one to each of my kids while riding. Makes inflating super easy. Great product.
Yes, I use my shop compressor, but just turn down my pressure regulator to the pressure I want my tires to be to avoid any possible bursting of my bike tires.

lightweight and cheap, January 21, 2011
By l2 (California)

These things are lightweight and cheap many people carry one in saddle pack for emergencies. If you don't need 12 of them, most bike shops sell them for a dollar each.

just about as simple as it gets, April 20, 2011
By Reader X (Mesa, AZ)

A machined piece of brass that has a neoprene o-ring embedded. Works fine, and keeping a card of 'em at home makes it easy to keep a blister pack in the underseat bag with a tube and tire levers.

False Advertisment, May 3, 2012
By MnM6770

|
I Purchased this item and the description stated 12 valves for $10.41...when I received my order only ONE valve was shipped. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation. I was instructed to return item and they would ship out the proper order. Once again I only received ONE valve and had to start all over again. Although my money was refunded I was disappointed with this transaction and soon after the item description was changed to reflect your only ordering ONE valve.

A must, August 19, 2011

If your bike has a presta valve, this is kind of a needed item. I have a gary fisher bike and I have not had an issue yet with this item. Keeps my tires full. Does what it advertises...

Nice product and cheap price, July 31, 2011
By Tax & Car Guy (New Rochelle, NY United States)

I only had one of these and I was afraid I would lose it. This is a great price and I put one in my bike bag, one next to my electric tire pump, and the rest in my tool box.

Presta Valves, June 24, 2011
By Zamboni driver (NY)

These presta valves are an essential to pack with your bicycle accessories. Presta valves are often used on Hybrid ans performance bikes. If you are stuck and in need of air...at a gas station, for instance, you would be able to use a standard pump compressor, with the presta adapter. Otherwise you might find yourself walking with your bike. These valves are sturdy and for the price of a few valves I received a dozen.

Very handy to have around, May 27, 2011

I recently purchased a new bike that required the PV valve. I didn't even know tubes had these valves and feel fortunate Amazon carries these items. I was surprised when the package arrived that it included a dozen of the adapters. However, thankful it did since they are small and I'm certain they will get lost easilly.
The adapters screw onto the frame with ease and hook up nice to my portable air compressor. For anyone with these valve stems, I highly recommend this product.

10 for the price of 1, April 16, 2011
By Legna (MD)

I love supporting my local bike shop, but I can buy 10 of these on Amazon for about what they charge for just one at the local bike shop. Since I tend to lose them every so often, I bought these many months ago to plan ahead, of course I haven't lost one since ;-)

Well Built American Made Product, October 31, 2011
By jbsixpack

This is a great deal. There are 12 adaptors and they are built well enough that you will probably only use them up if you lose them.
They fit well and are easy to use.

rip off, May 26, 2012
By Mer
|

This clearly shows a card, and states: It includes 12 adapter also comes with seal ( I have taken a screen shot of this for proof. ) I received only 1, not a full card. I adapter, that was it. NOT happy. I will change this review if this is made right. I should be sent 11 adapters, and expect that this is done very promptly!

PV Valve Adapters, May 21, 2012
By Lawrence J. Chan

Simple but can be essential. Never know if or when your presta pump head will fail. With this adapter you can use virtually any schrader or auto air pump. I always keep a few in my bag. Price is excellent and it is made of brass, not chrome plate as shown.
