Great bicycle grips for the price, July 25, 2009
By Cory J. Roberts (Ann Arbor, MI)

I've been using these grips for about a month now and my experience has been great. They are durable, they look great and they provide good grip. Assuming they are dry. I've found that when they get wet, they are very slippery on bare wet hands.
A cheap way to install them is with cheap hairspray at the dollar store. Any brand works, just spray the bar and a little bit inside the grip and slide it on. Set the grips and let it sit for at least half a day. The hairspray will have glued the grips in place.

Nice but too long, November 6, 2009

Good quality, easy to install. But they are about inch longer than my old ones. It doesn't really matter for me though.

Perfect replacement, June 17, 2011

Nice set of grips! Perfect fit. I got two sets, now scooter and a bike both got nice looking grips.
Easy to install, great project to let kids help you out and watch them smile.
We don't ride in the rain, so cannot comment on slippery handles, but they do look and feel far better than stock cheap handles that most bikes get these days.
Enjoy!

good grips, January 1, 2012

They have a "tacky" feel to the touch, and once installed they are very secure(no spinning or slippage). If you're looking for soft, spongy grips then these are not for you. If you want a solid secure grips then I recommend these.

So far, so good, December 2, 2011
By Erik Smith (Collingswood, NJ)

I've had these for a few weeks now. They seem pretty good so far. They're a lot stiffer than most stock grips, so you might find yourself picking up a pair of gloves if you ride a lot. I haven't had any problems with them slipping in the rain. To get them on, I wiped rubbing alcohol all over the handlebars and sloshed some inside the grips. It smells a bit, but works like a charm.

I don't know what else to say except the grips work well. They look like the picture. And they were cheap. Can't complain

Excellent grips, September 30, 2011
By Shop Bot (Florida, United States)

These are excellent ATB grips. They are very comfortable and stay put on the bars. I am becoming more and more impressed by Avenir stuff. I don't think I've bought one Avenir product that I was disappointed with. And the price of Avenir stuff is always much lower than the competition. Great value.
