Lotta gas, but some borderline threading, February 20, 2011
By Les Borean (So-Cal)

This is a fantastic deeeeel, a whole box of CO2's for the price of 2 bottles.
Seeing the other reviews stating that some bottles had damaged threads, I got a 3/8-24 hex nut at Lowes Hardware, then I threaded it onto each bottle. I was able to thread all the bottles, but a few were a little rough threading on. Threading the bolt on the marginal bottles fixed the problem so that I won't be stuck with an unthreadable bottle 50 miles from home.
I sacrificed one bottle to see how it would fill a tire, and it worked fine. Filled a 700-23 tire to about 85 pounds.

No brainer, June 18, 2008

I am using these cartridges in place of getting Mosquito Magnet Quick Clear cartridges. The way I see it, I can spend $12 (plus shipping) for 3 official Mosquito Magnet Quick Clear Cartridges or I can get a case of 30 for $39 (includes the shipping costs). It doesn't take a mathematician to figure out what is the better deal! Yes, it is probably more CO2 than you need to clear the MM, but for price, I really don't care!

Much better price than those "bike specific" CO2 cartridges and work exactly the same.... don't waste your money on those other name brands

works!?, August 20, 2009

Befor buying the above, I was wondering if the cartridges would work with "Genuine Innovations". It does, it's an exact thred match.
Havent tried it yet, but since it's 16g compressed co2, I believe it would deliver just as good as the original cartridge that came in the repair kit I bought in my local bike store. Price? comparing to te one sold in the store ($3 a piece), it can't be beaten!!!

Good value, mysterious quality, July 29, 2011
By John Le (Denver, CO)

I bought these cartridges as replacements for name-brand ones, used as a tire inflator for my bicycle in case of a flat.
I chose these based on two criteria: 1) they were threaded and 2) value. The product is true to description. With S/H, each cartridge ended up costing approximately 1.33/cartridge. The cheapest I could find at REI was 2.00/cartridge.
Anyway, the cartridges came to me inside a bubble-wrapped USPS bag, which was inside a UPS box (or was it the other way around?) -- I don't remember. No box, no brand labels, no thing. They're just in there, banging around, making clinking noises as I brought the box inside.
Upon inspection, the cartridges seem to be fine and are housed in a metal shell. As mentioned, there is little useful markings; indicating CO2 amount (16 grams).
I sacrificed one as a test and I am glad to report that they worked at filling my bicycle tire, as expected. All in all, though I don't really like the way it was packaged (which should have been better since the S/H charges were 1/3 of the total price of the product), and that there is little glamour (none is needed), it is functional (all that matters) and because it is the best value I have found, I do not regret buying these!

Don't Pay Up for Innovations, January 21, 2010
By Dakota Nixon (McLean, VA United States)

These work with my Innovations bicycle tire inflator chucks just as well as the overpriced brand name carts. One 30-box is not quite a lifetime supply, but it's a good start.

Beware - these are not Innovation cartridges, May 5, 2011
By Sandy D. Scott (Seminole, FL USA)

The ad for these cartridges clearly depicts the cartridges as Innovation brand cartridges which is the top of the line. That is what I thought I was receiving. Instead of receiving the box of 40 Innovation cartridges depicted, I received 3 plain no label boxes of 10 each, no name cartridges. Often times these off-brand cartridges have issues with threads which when stuck out on the road with a flat tire on a bicycle would not be fun if the cartridge was faulty. When one goes to customer service, it is immediately pointed out that this was sent through a vendor and not Amazon, and one is left dealing with them rather than the company that I have given a ton of business to over the years - Amazon! This whole thing stinks. BTW, one can purchase these off-brand cartridges at Wal-Mart less expensively and lot pay the exorbitant shipping costs charged for this transaction. BTW, the vendor who depicts one item and sends another is Redrock Distributing.

Confetti Cannon CO2 replacement works great, January 17, 2010
By kaztheie

Great replacement CO2 option for Kabuki Confetti Cannon's. We use two for theatre effects and need 20 - 40 per show run. All in these are $1.33 per versus $3.50 - 5.00 per from other sources. Great value and the vendor does a great job on shipping them quickly.

Great product! Great value!, August 27, 2011

Got this product about a year ago. So far used about 10 cartridges with Innovations Air Chuck. Worked great, no problem whatsoever. My cartridges say Japan, Leland, P/N 82122Z which is listed at this manufacturer's page. I would not be surprised if this is where the other 'bike market' vendor gets its branded cartridges. Just for the kick of it I made an experiment with a 0.01g resolution scale and measured the weight difference before and after discharge and it was 16.12g (see product picture). Bottom line, a great product for a great price, no reason to pay extra for 'bike market' branding.

After a flat, I use these in a Innovations Ultraflate Plus CO2 to get my bike tires up to 40 psi after pumping with a mini pump until tired of doing so.

Works well, and way cheaper than the LBS, February 13, 2012
By RL.Robertson

I hate spending 3.99/cartridge locally, so I picked up a box.. Has worked flawless so far. Have not had any problems with the threads or any other issues that occasionally happen. Fills up a 26 x 2.0 tire sufficient to get me through my ride if I have any flats.. Has also worked well to re-seat tubeless setups.

Bought these for cleaning out a mosquito magnet. They work fine and arrived in good shape. The one detail that others have mentioned they don't arrive in a box just a padded envelope stuffed in a box.
