Cute and Fun, January 14, 2009
By Autum (American Fork, UT, United States)
|
|
My 2 year old daughter loves this. She rides it all over. Very strong toy. Has been dropped down the stairs on accident and still goes. Withstands weight of older kids that shouldn't be riding it too. My son has one of these too (the boy version) that is over 2 years old and it still works, although battery doesn't hold a charge very well anymore. We have taken that one camping in the sand and dirt and it did very well.

I gave it 2 stars because:
- The manufacture and item description did not tell me that I need to charge the battery AT LEAST 14 hours after each use. Every time you use, you need to recharge battery AT LEAST 14 hours. Using the car for 5 mins or 50 mins you still need to recharge AT LEAST 14 hours to maintain the battery life. My daughter is still learning to ride and she is using it for less than 5 mins and I have to recharge AT LEAST 14 hours. This lead acid battery need to be recharged every time. It doesn't work like battery of cell phone where you only recharge the battery when it is LOW.

Toddler Mom, Austin, TX, July 6, 2008

I bought this for my daughter's 2nd b-day. It is super cute, durable, and just the right size for her; however, she road it for about five minutes and now won't get on it. I think because she kept pushing the "on" switch versus holding it in the "on" position and it would jerk her back and forth that it may have scared her. She may be a little young for this now but I think in a few months she will like it. Fisher-Price Power Wheels Toddler Series Girl's Lil Quad Refresh

Fun Fun Fun, January 6, 2009
By Grandma (New York)

I bought this jeep for my 16 month old granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. She jumped right on it, and at first when she pressed the button to go forward it jerked forward to quickly and scared her. I thought oh well, come spring time she'll get use to it. All of a sudden she jumps back on and took off down the hallway. She has to learn to steer it straight, but that will come in time. Grandpa says its easy to put together. Its durable and I think it will last a long time.

Love the Quad, January 2, 2009
By S. Armstrong (Southern California)

We bought this quad for my 19 month old for Christmas, and she absolutely loves it. Not only has it been a joy to her, but my 4 year old loves riding it too. I was surprised at how much power this thing has as my 4 year old is able to cruise acrfess the grass on it. If you are looking for an inexpensive quad for your little one this one is a sure buy.

Battery is an issue, May 11, 2011
By Jay Jervey (Longwood, FL)

If I had known what a pain the battery is, I would never have bought this product. You need to store the Power Wheels at room temperature or the battery will go bad so forget storing it in the garage. Now I have the kids riding it all over the house. And the battery requires recharging for 14 hours whenever you use it. Plus, even if you don't use it, you still have to charge the battery once a month. Forget it. My life is too busy taking care of kids and dogs and making ends meet to spend so much time caring for a ridiculous battery. I wish I had never bought this. For near $80, I feel ripped off.

Great Ride On Toy, February 7, 2011
By JBbmac

We bought this item for our one year old and she absolutely loves it. She loves to sit and play on it all the time now. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone interested in purchasing. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and most important of all our kid really enjoys this toy. Only thing I would recommend is that you take time when applying the stickers as they have a tendency to "ripple" when applying to the contoured surfaces.

Perfect for a 2-4 year old, December 26, 2009
By Attila the Hun (North Carolina)

This toy is easy to assemble. It's size and speed are perfect for a 2-4 year old. It does not work exceptionally well on tile floor, because of the hard material the wheels are made from, however it does go well on carpeted floors and outside. It is strictly forward motion no reverse, which doesn't seem to hinder our 3 year old. I do not believe it would stand up under the size, weight or use of a child over 5. When they say "toddler series", that is exactly what it is for a toddler.

Fun and safe, February 19, 2009
By Alvaro Escalante (San Jose, Costa Rica)

I bought this for my daughter when she was 14 months old and from the first moment she was able to easily get on the seat, without fear of falling down. She easily discover the push button on the right hand and how it works. Now she is 18 months old and she is able to control the quad perfectly. The toy has a reasonable speed to make safe and it does not flip over. This is a great value toy.

We bought this for my daughters 1st birthday. We had also bought my son the boy version for his first birthday a few years back and he loved it. Our daughter is very tiny, and she can ride and push the button just fine on it. She has so much fun, driving it around. She can't turn it yet, but she has fun trying. We love this lil quad!

I bought this for my daughter last year for her 2nd birthday. She hasn't used it as much as we'd would have like to see (she also has a car, ride on and a bike besides this) but she loved it! A little scared of it at first though lol... the battery lasts forever! We have only charged it one time!

This toy is super cute and my daughter LOVED it. Only problem is my daughter is on the taller side and this is kind of small. So she didn't get much use out of it. But its durable and fun for kids!

Granddaughters Birthday!, December 14, 2011
By cdoubles (Florida)

The Barbie Lil' Quad was the best present my granddaughter received. It was the only toy she would not give up and she rode it just about all day. I have to hide it from her or she would be on it all the time. It is very easy to drive and goes everywhere. She is only two but very smart and she figured it out in no time. Just make sure you fully charge it once you get it at the very least 18 hours not over 24 hrs. It goes through grass sand and up hills well. It has one button to push an just stir it. Simple! Also we put it together easily. Good gift for a toddler and gives them hours of fun.

Fun little ride on for smaller toddlers, August 20, 2011
By RJS
|
|
We bought this for our two year old daughter's birthday and it is a great buy! It is not terribly sturdy, and I would never allow a larger child to ride on this - this is specifically designed for smaller toddlers, unlike the larger, more expensive "car" ride ons. Our daughter is petite and weighs about twenty-two pounds and so this is perfect and she will be able to use it for a couple of years. She needed minimal instruction on how to push the power button, but will have to learn how to steer, so it will require super close adult supervision for awhile (right on top of her, steering for her) until she gains more motor control. There is no reverse, so you will have to teach the child how to steer and turn around. It is good on pavement and grass; I have read other reviewers saying they use it indoors; I would NOT recommend this as the wheels slide around and it us unstable and really too fast for safe indoor use. It is a good price for a purchase that will last a year or two for most children!

What a terrific bargain I received on the Barbie Power Wheel ride on, I only paid half the priceI would normally pay at any toy store. The shipping was moderately low for a toy that size and still the total cost less than the prices I seen in the retail stores. I plan on shopping here again and tell everyone I know about the great prices you can get for quality goods on Amazon. I enjoy bargains and always check Amazon out and never seem to go wrong. Great shopping, great shipping!!!!!!

Good times, April 11, 2011

We bought this for our 15 month old. She was terrified of it. I was so sad. Then before I knew it the 15 month old turned into a 20 month old and she loves it. Now I am happy. I only wish it has a reverse so it doesn't need a daddy readjustment so often.

By Reen5horse (Langston, Alabama)

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my Grand daughter who is 2 1/2 years old and she loves loves it! I had them mailed it direct to them without any problems. She rides this in the grass on the dirt road and it just goes without any lag. This is a great gift without a huge price tag for a riding toy...We are very pleased and plan on buying another one for my other Grand daughter for her birthday..

Awesome quad for little ones!!, January 8, 2011
By graceymel

I purchased two of these for my two year old twins. They love them. Excellent battery life! A bit small for bigger toddlers but easy for them to pick up and turn around when needed. Best if you add rubberbands to tires for better traction especially if you have tile floors. Overall great beginner quad with a great price too!!

Overall good product - fun toy, January 9, 2010
By Smith (Texas)

|
Bought this for my 22 month old for Christmas. Really likes it - easy for her to drive with the push button. She figured that out right away. She is still learning to steer - which is good for her coordination. Her 4 year old sister likes to play with it also, even though she is too big for it! Batter is proving to last a good long time in between charges. Overall - good product.

Great little scooter!, December 24, 2009
By thezakis (East Brunswick, NJ)

I bought this for my daughter's second birthday. It's really an lovely toy, and she easily understood to push the button in order to make it go. However, she seems a little scared to ride it. I think she will eventually enjoy it, as this is the first motor toy she's ever had. The battery actually had enough power to run right out of the box, which was nice. Very nice toy, well built. I gave it a 4 on durability as we have not owned it very long yet.

Looks good, March 13, 2010
By Dana B. Galvin

Seems good she rode it once so far but then I had to hide it for her 1st birthday party. I know it says 18 months but she is a big baby and this thing has a 40 pound weight limit I recall. Not for big 18 month-36 month olds. I bet she will out grow it before she is 24 months. I bought is used on Craigslist for 40 bux so I am happy with my purchase.

Not what i expected, December 28, 2009
By R. Ibarra

I paid more money to purchase this car specifically because it stated "electronic lights and sounds which add to the realism, fun along with a flipping stop sign and a seat in the back for the kid's favorite doll or teddy bear" in the description. Well it doesn't have any of that. If i new that then I would've bought the cheaper one I was comparing it to.
