Product Description:
Fizik Aliante Carbon K:ium Twin Flex Black Road Saddle with Black Scuff Guards provides supreme comfort and support. The Twin Flex Technology has an area of lower density in the center of the saddle to keep your sensitive bits comfy. The exterior of the shell is a 35 gram multidirectional carbon fiber shell that surrounds a 15 gram bi-directional carbon and Kevlar weave interior "hammock." Additionally, the Alainte's profile is a more traditional "saddle shape" that dips in the middle for pressure relief. The rails are made of a material called K:ium, which is eight percent lighter than titanium. The K:ium rails have better vibration-absorption qualities and more corrosion resistance than titanium. Specs: Color - Black with black suede; Rail - K:ium; Padding - Twin Flex; Scuff Guards - Matte Black; ICS - yes; Weight - 239 grams; Length - 265mm; Width - 142mm.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Very comfortable, could be a bit more stickier, May 4, 2010
By D. Tzau (Vernon Hills, IL United States)
This is one of the most comfortable seats I have owned. I've been riding for 15+ years and this is by far the most comfortable. If you ride long hours this is a good seat. I also race and it holds up fine. the Leather could be use a little more grip, but maybe that will come with time.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Saddle Nirvana, March 31, 2011
By David H. Leddon (Pleasanton, CA)
I hesitate to offer an opinion on a product like a saddle since all butts are not the same. Right after I started riding this saddle on club rides, another member mentioned that he had experienced saddle sores using another Fizik product, but for me this has been one of the most comfortable saddles I've used. I'm 65 and weigh in at 190 pounds and my typical ride is about 50 miles with an occasional century thrown in. I ride 5 days a week and after a 1000 miles have experienced no soreness.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very Comfortable and Stylish Saddle!, February 28, 2012
By ASEhlers
I got this saddle to replace the default Bontrager saddle on my new Trek Madone 4.7. I've only ridden a few hundred miles on this ssaddle and only 25 mile rides, but was able to tell a difference immidiately. This seat has never caused me any of the soreness that I experienced with previous saddles (not just the Bontrager).

Throw in the great look and low weight and I'd recommend this saddle 10/10 times to anyone looking for a comfortable ride. I'll be buying a saddle just like this one when it's time to replace my existing FiZik Aliante.
