Basic. Works. Inexpensive., October 22, 2010
By Books are Nicer Than Peopl.. (Spokane, WA)

This is one of those items that if you spend more on something amazingly fancy you're wasting your money. This item works fine at keeping my front wheel in place while using my indoor trainer. It's simple, basic, and inexpensive. What more could you want? I highly suggest this product.

Very stable, November 19, 2010
By echapman

This riser block is very stable even when I ride hard or stand up. It raises the height of the front wheel to match the height of the rear wheel. It also keeps the front wheel from moving side to side while riding (more stable than using a phone book). It is made of hard plastic and seems like it should stand up to years of hard usage. Good value for the money.

Cheap and Effective, February 9, 2011
By Ryan
|
|
Well, what can be said? If you want a cheap and effective riser block this one is for you. Basically it's a block of plastic with some rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from moving around on you. Doesn't offer varying degrees of incline, so if you want more than that you might want to look else where.

Simple, Effective, Strong, December 17, 2010

Use in combination with a wind trainer. Plastic is beefy and seems like it will stand up over time. Has some small rubber feet that keep it from slipping around. What else can I say...it works.

Solidly built, but doesn't do what it's supposed to, March 13, 2011
By Rhett
|
|
This riser is sturdy, solid plastic, but it barely raised my front tire off of the ground. I was still leaning too far forward when I had my bicycle in the trainer. When I put an old phone book underneath the riser, it helped some, but I returned it for something that had the height without a thick book.

A Blocks-A-Block!, January 21, 2011
By chevotaman (Chehalis, WA)
|
|
It works as designed. It levels the bike out when rear is up on the trainer and it holds the front wheel straight. We have it on carpet and there is pretty much no chance of it moving or sliding around. If you are buying a trainer, this is a good cheap must have to level the bike and keep the front end steady. Much better than phone books!

Good product at a good price, December 15, 2010

I use these for my recumbent trike on rollers, to lift the front of the trike up. They are stable, well made, and should last forever. Well worth the purchase price.

Does what you'd expect it to, September 7, 2011
By Michael Mcgowan (upstate NY)
|
|
There's not much to be said about this product. It's purpose is simple, it's design is straightforward and it does what it's supposed to: raises the front tire to meet the height of the rear (provided you have your bike adjusted in the trainer properly) and keeps the front end from moving. I use it on a finished hardwood floor and it holds my bike like it was screwed to the floor. Don't be fooled by the pictures. You can't really tell how bit the thing is without something in the photo for scale. It's actually about the size of a deflated football, however any smaller and it most likely wouldn't hold as stable as it does. Truthfully though, and let be honest here, it's a chunk of molded plastic and should realistically sell for 5 bucks, but as with any purpose built piece of anything, they'll get what you're willing to pay for it.

A Balanced Act, October 11, 2011
By Yakaya
|
|
This product was really helpful as I purchased it with a bicycle trainer stand. Without using a riser block you feel like you are going to fall off the front of the bike. I found the riser to be almost the perfect height to keep the bike horizontal, although it could be just a smidge taller, but this will vary based on how high your bike sits on the trainer you purchase. Overall I have been using it for about a month and I have no complaints! :)

Perfect for a rainy day, May 9, 2011
By Ryan Matocha

I don't use my trainer often, but it was nice to find a riser block for a decent price, and it does its job perfectly. It seems wide enough to accommodate mountain bike tires, but still works well on my 23mm road bike tires.

Sunlite Forza Riser Block Gray
Not a real lot to say about this small item, other than it was as advertised. Works just fine. I didn't realize how helpful such a small item could be when riding a stationary bike setup. I would reccomend the item to anyone looking for this type of product.

It's a solid block, March 8, 2011
By Seth (Boulder, CO)
|
|
I travel by car a lot and have been hauling my bike and trainer around with me over these winter months. I left my multi-faceted CycleOps climbing block(s) at home due to storage space, and after a few training sessions decided the stacked Gideon books found in my hotel rooms would not suffice as risers. (That was a joke)
The Forza Riser Block is perfect for the low price. It's a block, holds my wide MTB tyre, is more compact than the CycleOps, and it is solid.
'Nuff said.

Works like a charm, November 16, 2011
By Stephen St.Vincent

Alright, so it's probably overpriced for being what it is: a piece of plastic with tiny rubber feet. But it holds the bike up, keeps the front wheel from turning... I mean, that's what it's supposed to do, really.

It's a riser for your front bike tire. Nothing fancy...in a good way. Keeps my front tire firmly in place while i ride and no-slip rubber on bottom keeps it from moving around. It's exactly what I wanted. Very happy. And it was cheap.

Does what it's supposed to, January 7, 2012
By R. Rickert
|
|
This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do, hold the front tire of the bike still while you're using a wind trainer, and elevate the front wheel so the bike is level. It's basically a hard piece of plastic with four rubber feet, and holds the front wheel firmly in place while you're training. Glad I got one.

Perfect, inexpensive riser, December 14, 2011
By S. Bird
|
|
Great riser block. Lightweight, sturdy, does the job, and I feel stable on the bike, even when standing on the pedals for a full-out effort. It was bigger than I expected, but that certainly isn't a problem when the goal is stability while on the trainer. I'd recommend or buy again if needed.

For the price, this is an excellent item. In fact, I would have paid more. It's sturdy, solid, and does what it needs to. Bottom Line: Buy this to raise your front tire on a bike trainer and to stabilize the front tire.

not necessary, April 16, 2011
By John M. Beasley (Titusville, Fl)
|

You can use a free phone book or two (if you want to go up hill!) and save the 15 or 25 dollars they charge for these little plastic risers. It has about the same amount of plastic as two milk jugs, so if empty milk jugs cost 7.50, imagine how much milk would cost. Save your money, put a book under the tire. Mine is riding on a never read manual of Office 2003. If you are going to buy one, the ones with various heights look a bit more useful than the single height model.

Works Great, March 9, 2012
By Kevin Lee (Upstate New York)

Small, light weight and really helps stabilize my bike when it is on my magnetic trainer. I am contemplating if this can be used as to hold my bike in place rather than leaning the bike against the wall or lifting it overhead and hanging it on hooks in the garage. We'll see.

Nice riser, February 29, 2012
By MJC
|
|
This riser does exactly what it is intended to do. It holds the front wheel of your bike steady while on a trainer. It is not as tall as I would like, but I could pretty much tell by looking at the pics that would be the case. I just set it on wooden block and it's good.
This riser may be high enough for you or it may not. It depends on the type of trainer you use. My trainer keeps the rear of the bike pretty high, but it's a really cheap trainer. If you have a trainer that is lower, this riser should be fine. The point is to have the front and rear wheels at the same level, just as they would be on the road.
This is a quality riser and nice looking. It stays put on carpet, wood flooring and on a standard wooden block.
