4.0 out of 5 stars.  Not quite as good as advertised, but much better than most, January 14, 2008
By M. Miller (Boise, Idaho USA)
I got the F6 3-bike Trunk/Bumper Mount Rack for my wife for Christmas. She had purchased a cheap bike rack a couple of years back that was a total waste of money (could barely hold 2 bikes, did not hold them securely, one bike damaged during transport, etc.) The F6 is one of the sturdiest racks I've seen, and the cradles work great at keeping them secure. Easy to install on my 4Runner (though the top bar has to either rest on the upper rear brake light or the top of the rear window - not to keen about that), a bit more problematic on my Buick Century (not enough flat bumper for the bottom rests to sit on). The main problem is that neither of our bikes seem to fit the "standard" way, and the modified method leaves only rooom for two, not three, bikes.

But having said all that, we can make it work, it doesn't take long to install, the bikes ride securely, and we feel it is a well-made product. I also was VERY pleased with the price we paid through Amazon, which was about half of what it would have cost us at our local bike shop!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A Perfect Fit, April 26, 2008
By Timothy D. Gammon (Danville, Virginia)
I needed a carrier that would fit a trunk lid with a fairly large rear spoiler. The Expedition fit perfectly.Plenty of clearance over the spoiler. The saddles are very nice and hold your bike securely. The carrier also holds your bike high enough so you don't have to worry about road clearance. Installation is easy and only takes about two minutes after you get the straps adjusted for your car. I think this is a well made product and highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a trunk mount carrier. And Amazon's price was the lowest that I could find and with free shipping too.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Rack, August 30, 2010
By BUSMAN (PA)
Excellent trunk rack. Easy to mount and does not damage your car. When attached it holds firm and had no problem carrying 2 bikes for a 5 hour ride cross country at highway speeds. Recommend you tie down your wheels so they do not turn. No bike rack on the market provides for that. Attached easily to all my Toyotas. Highly recommended and worth the extra bucks.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Hollywood Bike rack, February 4, 2009
By Chad William Cox
The Hollywood Bike rack F6 is well built, sturdy and easy to use.
It can be adjusted to fit either of my cars and carries 3 bikes easily.
Recently used it to carry two bikes to Florida. It stayed in place the whole trip with just minor adjustments to the bottom straps at gas stops.
Cleans up easily from the nasty road salt of the winter roads. It takes just minutes to attach bikes and you are off.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very sturdy and versatile, August 22, 2010
By B.T.
I have the 2-bike one and it's very-very sturdy & versatile. Drove 600 miles each way to Lake Tahoe and on the way back hit the worst thunderstorm ever imaginable for lasting for about 100 miles going thru humongous puddles etc, and the rack did great! Never had to readjust or tighten. The only problem that i saw is that after we bought new bikes that the new ones are chunkier so even with the brackets spread farther apart the pedal of one bike still has to go thru the spokes of the other. So i suggest that even if you have just 2 bikes to buy a 3 bike rack which makes it more versatile to not just the number of bikes but the type of bikes you strap to it. But i've put on it tiny children's bikes, small 12" frame size women's bikes, big man's bike, a BMX bike, and no matter the size there is always a way to get it on and have it be totally 100% stable. I highly recommend this rack.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Disappointed, May 27, 2008
By Skip (Richmond,VA)
I like that it secures to the vehicle nicely and the bikes were very stable. But,I bought it for BMX bikes and the width is too wide.Making it very hard to get them on and off.For mountain bikes it would be good. But not for 20" BMX bikes.

Only taken the rack out on one trip however I am very pleased with this. I was able to fit three bikes easily and didn't have any trouble installing or taking it off. See here [...]
