Trike for Tot, January 6, 2009
By Grandma

This is a neat first trike for a girl. She liked the storage space in the rear and the adjustable seat and foldable option are helpful. Nevertheless, I was very disappointed in the "tires" which were described as rubber in the blurb.Beware! They are hard plastic! False advertising, if you ask me.

Solid Trike - Narrow Wheelbase, December 11, 2007

The bike is extremely durable and well built.
I think the narrow wheelbase causes the trike to be a bit tipsy for beginners which can be dangerous outdoors and around furniture.

Her First Tricycle, January 16, 2008

I love this tricycle! My 19 month old is a little too short to reach the pedals (she is average height for her age) but she can push herself with her feet. She has so much fun putting toys and things in the little basket on the back. She looks adorable scooting about on her little tricycle! I love it! She loves it!

Poor Design, December 19, 2008

This trike is designed for children not old enough to ride on it.
Initially, I thought this looked like a quality toy, but upon further examination, it became obvious that the pedals are set too close together. There is not enough leverage for my 4-year old girl to turn them over.
My 2-year old loves to get on it and can scoot himself by pushing on the floor. Most of the time the older pusher the younger and then the pedals become a hazard.
This toy is cute, but it shouldn't be considered as an entry level tricycle.

She can reach the pedals!, January 12, 2009

I was thrilled that my daughter can reach the pedals on this trike. Most other tricycles we've tried have had pedals much too far away for her to reach. She has enjoyed being able to pedal it instead of just pushing it along with her feet like she has had to do with other trikes. My only 2 criticisms of the product are: 1) the folding feature is kind of a joke... it folds alright, but even folded, it is almost as big as when it is unfolded and 2) it is a little top-heavy and tips over pretty quickly. Overall, though, it has been a good toy for her.

Better than the regular red/white radio flyer trike..., December 3, 2008

My daughter loves this trike. We originally bought the red/white RF trike because it looked very durable (metal) but the darn thing squeaks and is very clunky and heavy, not only that but my daughter never learned to pedal until we got her this trike.
The pedals are very easy and she figured it out in minutes.. where as with the other trike she had she would sit on it and try and try and try and never got it.
Plus, this one has a little compartment in the back that she loves putting her little dollies in there, I even found a half eaten PB&J sandwich once.. lol
Anyway, i'm rambling. If you get this trike you won't be dissappointed and neither will your little girl.

What's not to Love about this Trike!, July 25, 2009

It's a beauty. Granddaughter loves the streamers and the trunk. She plays as much with putting things in and taking them out of the trunk as she does riding right now because she hasn't got the hang of riding on her own yet. She is fascinated with the streamers which are very solidly attached to stay. And no assembly!

My little granddaughter is constantly using it. She is learning how to coordinate the pedals as well as driving it. Very educational for a two year old.

I bought this tricycle for my 2 1/2 year old daughter because it was small enough for her to reach the pedals. The trike is adorable, but unfortunately it's cheaply made, unstable, and dangerous. First, the wheels are made of cheap plastic, not rubber as advertised. After paying nearly $50.00 for this trike, I expected the quality of materials to be better. As soon as my daughter started pedaling, the trike tipped over and she skinned her knee. I encouraged her to try again and again, and the trike tipped over every single time. The tricycle is top heavy, the back wheels are too close together, and the seat sits too high....all of these variables make the trike completely unstable, especially for very young children who haven't mastered the art of balancing a bike (which is the demographic this product is targeting). After falling off the trike repeatedly, my daughter wants nothing to do with it. I'm very disappointed and returning this item ASAP for a refund.
