 Good trike for big toddlers, March 11, 2009

My 2 year old daughter is very big for age, and even with the seat at the lowest setting the trike is still a little bit big for her. She can reach the pedals, but not adequately when turning the handle bars. I'm glad she will have room to grow into it so she can use the trike for a while, but I am bummed that she can't fully enjoy it now. It does not seems prone to tipping as other trikes out there, though it will tip given the right conditions. It is a solid trike and I expect it will last to pass on to my baby when he is big enough. I also really like the solid tires-- they seem better for traction than the hollow plastic ones.
