Product Description:
The Challenge Tool Bag is for fitment to the rear of a saddle bearing bag loops. It features buckles that whilst fastening the bag to the saddle, are located within the hold itself, thus ensuring greater levels of security and the strap that secures the unit encircles the tools it carries, to prevent them from rattling during transit.

bought this for my husband for christmas, He loves it because it matches his Brooks saddle that he has on one of his many bikes.

4 out of 5 stars.  Classic Looks, Minimalist Design, January 9, 2010
I have this saddle bag matched to a b-17 on both my road bikes. I love the look and feel of the real leather - the quality is A-1, top drawer. My reason for 4 star versus 5... the price. These are very expensive. If I hadn't made some money selling other bikes, I don't know that I could have justified the expense.

To others saying they are too small to carry necessary items... I travel light and they work great for that. My essentials:

- Patch kit (I'll limp home and get the new tube there)
- hex wrenches 4,5,6
- 2 tire levers
- small knife with phillips and standard screw drivers in it
- a couple of zip ties
- a small bit of electrical tape
- a small cloth for dealing with greasy chains (lets be civilized)
- Brooks saddle rain cover

All of this fits perfectly in a Challenge bag. All I've ever needed.

2 out of 5 stars.  Zero functionality and smashing looks.., October 22, 2009
As the previous reviewer mentioned, it looks really really cool.. The catch is, it doesnt hold anything at all.. I need a spare tube, a Topeak tool kit which is fairly tiny, a compact pump, patch kit, a pair of tire lever.. Absolute minimum in case of a flat. I cannot do without any of them. Now, i can only fit at the max three at a time. The rest should go in my carry bag..

If you are my kind of a guy, look for something else.. If you prefer looks over functionality this is the tool bag without a doubt..

5 out of 5 stars.  Brooks Challenge tool bag, May 2, 2009
Brooks Challenge Bicycle Tool/Saddle Bag

I bought the tool bag to match my Brooks B-17 Special saddle. The combo looks smashing on my commuter bike. Only problem is that it doesn't hold much. I couldn't get a spare tube in with the tools and patch kit. Maybe the Brits don't get flats; who knows? Still, its beautiful and the leather is first quality.
