JUNK!, August 18, 2008
By Dr. Ferro (Clifton Park, NY, USA)

This stand is poorly designed and poorly manufactured. The weight of a light road bike causes the stand to bend. The base legs were welded on at different angles so the stand, when new, would not sit flat.

save your money, October 23, 2006

Made of a soft steel, the legs' attachment is a bit flimsy, so it leans forward too much.
May not accommodate bikes with disk brakes (the upper hook is too low for the wide frame opening). I had to drill a hole and move the hook closer to the top of the stand to make it hold my 26" mountain bike.

Good but weak, December 24, 2007

Very nice to use if your bike is made of something as light as aluminum. For heavy bikes it is too fragile.

Not so portable. Flimsy, February 6, 2009

I bought this rudementary bicycle stand. It is not portable or quick to set up. It wobbles and flimsy. It has a hard time holding up my bicycles. More so with my mountain bike.

Crap!, April 5, 2010
By pedestrian_reader (San Francisco, CA USA)

This is a poorly designed and poorly manufactured piece of crap. The bottom piece of the 'quickstand' which is meant to hold the chain stay of the bike frame is totally dependent on the screws holding it in place being very, very tight -- but the machining of the small cylinder which the screws screw into is poor, and thus the piece is not held firmly in place. With this piece loose, it's impossible to get this quickstand to hold the bike up.
Even so the design is so poor that even if machining were well done, the bike would still sit at an angle in danger of falling over while in the stand.
I don't know which bike repair stand to use, but this one definitely isn't it.

missing washers and poor instructions, July 9, 2007

I've had a little stand similar to this before and prefer them, because I have limited space. I gave it 3 stars, because it meets my needs. It lost two stars for poor instructions and missing washers.
I find the swivel hook and tray to be an interesting feature. The rubberized coating on them is good for the bike finish. I don't expect a lot of stability from a little holder like this.

Not the greatest product but it does the trick if you don't have the big bucks for a professional stand
