4 out of 5 stars.  good book, July 22, 2009
Book is clear and easy to understand. It gives a couple of different methods to get your balance while learning even though the author perfers one style, he shares other styles that may better suit your needs. I find it well written and an easy quick read since I wanted to jump on my new unicycle so quickly. You will enjoy it. This is the only book I ordered so I cannot compare it with the others out there.

5 out of 5 stars.  Excellent - my 12 year old daughter taught herself with this book, June 18, 2009
Great book. I didn't read it myself, but my 12 year old daughter taught herself to unicycle with this book. She had no help from anyone - certainly not me - and now she rides about 1.5 miles to school most days.

2 out of 5 stars.  Crash Indeed!, February 18, 2009
I bought several books on unicycling a year ago and succeeded in learning to ride within a few weeks. Looking back at this one, I would describe it as distinctly unhelpful. It takes a sink or swim approach, asking learners to cope with starting, managing momentum and balancing left to right all in one step. More useful resources break these parts down into isolated steps that can be practiced one by one to make the experience more fun and rewarding. Other books also provide options for settings where you can learn--this book focuses on just one approach and one somewhat challenging setting.

I'd recommend other books over this one for all who actually want to learn to unicycle rather than just reading about it.

5 out of 5 stars.  Very pleased!, January 12, 2009
My son is using this book to learn to ride, and he is doing a great job. However, my review is of the seller. The first book the Seller sent to me vanished in the Christmas postal service rush. The Seller was very prompt about sending me a replacement and was most cordial about it. I would HIGHLY recommend this seller to anyone else.

5 out of 5 stars.  The book to get if you want to learn to ride, September 7, 2008
This is the best resource out there for a person wanting to learn to ride the unicycle. If you're a beginner, I highly recommend you skip all the others and just buy this book.
