I got this camera about a year ago, and I was excited, because my mom had told me that she'd ordered me a purple camera. Please. this isn't purple. But I'm not gonna moan about the color. I've never liked the quality of the pictures it takes. they're just not good compared to some other cameras you could get. Also, if a room is at all dark and you're trying to take pictures you can't. it tells you it's underexposed. but if you put on the flash, the picture if either overexposed or just fake looking. I admit that i like to take quality pictures, and this is definitely not the camera for it. for just taking pictures of friends, sure, it'll pass. as long as you don't want action picture. this camera can not handle that. so, yeah. i'm not terribly impressed with this camera, and i'm looking for a better one. don't waste your money if you're expecting good pictures from this camera. you won't get them.

Had the camera for about a week and the lens locked up. Sent it back to Casio for repair. Let you know how it goes..

Casio Does Not Stand Behind Warranty, August 24, 2010

Please note that this review is about the product, not about forCycling's service. As usual, their service was great. I bought this camera for my daughter. She used it about one month and then the flash unit quit working. I sent it to Casio for warranty repair, and their response is that they'll repair it for $69 plus $10 to ship it back to us. That's about the same amount as the original purchase price. I won't be buying a Casio camera of any kind again.

This is actually my first digital camera and it is just perfect for me! It doesn't have a lot of difficult buttons to figure out which is great if you like things to be simple. The pictures turn out clear and full of color. I am really enjoying my casio!

Great little camera, August 9, 2010

I had a fairly expensive Pentax digital camera that had so many bells and whistles on it that I had no idea how to use, and I usually ended up screwing it up. It was an OK camera but a waste on a point-and-shooter like me. So my friend had this camera and I was very impressed by the pictures it took. I looked around, and forCycling had the best price I could find for it. Well, out of the box I was taking pictures with it, did a couple little videos, this a much easier camera to use. I like the size too, it's small and light.
Bonus: It's FUSCIA (not purple) so my husband won't want to borrow it. I'm giving him the Pentax.
