| | I use this mount for road riding and running. For what it is designed for, that is a quick way to switch between sports, it is a fairly effective method. The trouble lies in if your road or mountain bike rides occur over rough surfaces. In Atlanta the city government has allowed the streets to deteriorate to a point where our group rides are being re-routed due to deplorable road conditions. On one such bumpy ride, my 305 apparently bounced off without my knowledge. A couple of miles past the ejection point I was shocked to look down and find a blank mount where my 305 usually rests.
The good news is that I found it after a 2.5 hour search in the thick ivy and tall grass lining the road. What a pain, but it would have been much worse to take a $180 hit had I not found the unit. Anyway, have gone back to using the wrist strap around a Polar mount until Garmin comes up with a better mounting solution. If you ride bumpy roads with this mount, keep an eye on your GPS.

| | I bought this to go with my Forerunner 305 to track my training on both bike and runs. Easy to install (both wrist band and bike mount) and works well in both modes. Much easier to read my 305 when mounted on the bike. I actually prefer the Velcro wrist band over the watch band as is easier to get on/off from the swim to bike and bike to run transitions in triathlons where every second counts. Money well spent.

| | I bought this quick release kit for use with mountain biking duathlons. The price is incredibly reasonable, install took about five minutes and it works great. The replacement watch strap is more comfortable than the original one that came with my 305. The bike mount works fantastic and the 305 stayed clipped in even after a crash. Highly recommend this product for mountain biking, marathon training, or duathlons.

| | I like the Velcro strap and how easy it was to install it on my bike.
Some small downsides: Sometimes it takes me a little while to get the Garmin out of the clips and I lost my first pin after 2 weeks. Fortunately, spare pins came in the packet... I guess they know why.

| | It works exactly as its supposed to. Great for the bike and transitions in a tri. I highly recommend getting this even if you don't need the bike mount - the velcro wrist strap is much more comfortable than the stock one and infinitely adjustable. Also, it has reflective touches (good for night running) that the stock one doesn't. The only hitch is that it's a little tough to get the unit out of the mount in a hurry, its in there tight, but at least you know it won't fall out even in the roughest conditions either running or biking. Highly recommended!
