Be seen!, May 3, 2010

Fantastic little lights. They don't take up much real estate on the bike. The way they attach is super simple and secure. The lights stay aimed where you point them. The front light is pretty bright considering it's small size. I used it as a headlight when my main light died on my way home one night. It wasn't the best headlight, but I made it home alright. As a light used to be seen, it works great! The rear light is very bright as well. I haven't had any problems with either light through wet, dry, snow, cold, or hot weather.

Great Product!, February 10, 2009

I bought one of these knog frogs in pink for myself at my local bike shop which was more expensive than forCycling. I liked it so much I bought a bunch for Christmas presents. They're really handy because they fit around almost anything and are easier to attach than other type of lights. I use one on the back of my helmet which takes a little bit to get attached but works well. A lot of people comment on it so it must really stand out.

Good light in a small package, January 20, 2009
|
|
I purchased a pair, white & red and found them bright and reliable, making evening riding safer. I have since purchased several pairs and carry an extra pair. If I meet a rider who has neglected to light their bike, I give them a pair; each rider has found them useful and appreciated the comfort found in their added safety. The light is easily attached, small and light weight, truly a good light in a small package.

Simple, Cheap, Effective Lighting, November 29, 2008
|

I saw the knog on one of my friends bikes and had to get one. They are simple but super cool looking. Also, because they're cheap you can get a bunch of them to make sure that you are visible at night. They are versatile; you can put them on any tube on your bike, facing in any direction.
Be safe, stay visible. Keep Riding.

bright and subtle light, November 6, 2008

Before you buy this piece, please be clear: you're using this LED light to be SEEN, not to illuminate the road. If you're in for the latter, you want to move onto another high beamed light that's NOT a LED.
That out of the way, this piece is fantastic. It's extremely light (about weight of two quarters), easy to strap on ANYWHERE on the bike or the helmet, and the light is really bright. I feel safe knowing that people can see me coming from a distance. Plus when i put it on the handlebar, you can't even tell that it's there. The sheer size makes it very subtle and unintrusive. I bought my single pack for $15, but it was well worth it. The light lasts 80 hours straight or 160 hours flashing (which is better for visibility anyway), light unit comes out easily and the batteries can be swapped with another 2032 size with ease. Highly recommend.
