Product Description:
"Fluid+Magnetic" system uses fluid resistance to generate an exponential power curve for simulating the headwind you feel when riding, and the magnetic resistance accelerates the power curve necessary for building muscle. 1.5kg machined steel flywheel delivers an incredibly smooth, powerful and progressive flow of resistance. Adjust the resistance level using your handlebar shift lever. Choose from seven different positions that simulate real road riding conditions. Gravity type frame stabilizes your bike and provides automatic pressure adjustment of the roller to the rear tire - minimizing tire slippage and premature tire wear. Front fork stand supports the bike by the front wheel and rear hub for added stability. Adjusts to any wheelbase between 820-1120mm. Entire unit folds down in seconds without any tools for easy storage. Fits 24", 26", 27" and 700c wheels (does not fit 20" or 29").

4 out of 5 stars.  First Impressions of Minoura VFS150-3-R Trainer, December 15, 2008
My unit arrived more quickly than I anticipated and was in good condition. This is my first trainer so my experience will be limited to the setup and first use of the Minoura. The pros about the unit is that it was fortunately quite easy to setup using common sense. It is a very stable platform and provided me with a very good cardio workout on my first try. My bike (FUJI CCR3) adapted very nicely with no problems. The negatives of the experience was the user manual, which is atrocious. Either someone who doesn't understand how to write in English wrote it or a computer made some very poor attempts at translating a document. Fortunately, just following the pictures and using common sense got me through the setup. The second negative was some poor machining of parts that required some home remedies to make holes, sleeves, and slots line up. It wasn't difficult to fix - it just should have been better quality to begin with. All in all, the unit, once assembled, is working very nicely and I would recommend it for purchase. I would suggest the company pay some attention to the manuals that ship with their products.
