Stay Away from Smooth Fitness, January 25, 2010

The bike is smooth, solid and quiet, but the one I purchased has a manufacturer defect. The console is not aligned correctly due to a bad welding. I have been trying to get Smooth Fitness to fix the defect for the last 2 months, but they would not help and are rude. I guess I'll have to get my credit company to deal with them. Also the Polar Wireless Chest Strap is missing. It is supposed to with it according to the product description. Smooth Fitness insists that no Polar Wireless Chest Strap comes with it. If I were to buy a bike again, I would not buy it from Smooth Fitness. Also, make sure you are not buying a bike from a seller who distributes them on behalf of Smooth Fitness, because you will have to deal with Smooth Fitness, should your bike has any problems. You have been warned!
